I knew I won't be able to refuse to see Justin any longer if I want to make this evening perfect for me and Jared. That's why I decided to send Justin a peace offering.

"Fine, I'll talk to you, but not tonight!. I'm not in the city. I'll call you tomorrow when I get back, and we can talk."

"Everything OK?", Jared asked and it seemed as if he was a bit concerned.

"Yeah, nothing to worry about. Some mix up with the schedule at work. Nothing that Ashley can't take care of. I just tend to overreact sometimes." I said and smiled, trying to make sure nothing ruins tonight.

"Good. I wouldn't want this night to be anything but perfect", Jared said and put his hand on top of mine which was on my left thigh. Chills instantly went through my stomach and up my spine. His touch was so compelling.

We've finally arrived in front of the restaurant and after he got out of the car Jared opened the door for me and took my hand to hold while we were getting inside. Everybody seemed to know him, and we got the best table at the restaurant. It was one of the tables in the back, where you could see the entire room, while almost nobody could see you perfectly. It was perfect for me, since I wanted us to have as much privacy as possible. It would be so uncomfortable to be photographed by paparazzi on our first date. Not only was this our first date, but the day that we met for the first time. Everything was happening so fast that the last thing I needed was to see my picture online in the morning saying that Jared and I are "a thing".

The waiter came to take our order and after we've ordered dinner and a bottle of white wine we started to talk. I got to know a bit more about Jared's personal life. I only knew a couple of basic things, about his brother, a single mom and their not at all easy childhood. But tonight he told me almost every little thing about their struggle, and path to success. It's so refreshing to talk to someone who doesn't take their success, fortune and fame for granted. Jared worked so hard for every little thing he owns, that he can't help but be humble and grateful for everything he has now.

"It's so nice to see that a celebrity could actually be so down to earth as you are. I feel like I have known you my entire life. It's so easy to talk to you.", I said and smiled the whole time. Jared was so comfortable to be around. Not for a minute did I feel any kind of pressure talking to a rock star.

"I can say the same about you. It seems as if we clicked the moment we met. I could talk to you for hours.", Jared said and took a glass to clink with mine.

"So tell me, how is that you chose to do what you do?", Jared asked me.

"Well, I've always known I'm gonna end up doing something that has to do with television. As a little kid I used to act, sing, recite, and I was always involved with activities that included public speaking or some type of performance."

"Yeah, you really are charismatic, that's for sure. There's something about you that's enchanting. It's really hard to keep my eyes off of you", Jared said with the cutest grin on his smile, taking a sip of his wine.

"Stop, you're gonna make me blush," I said and waved my head.

"I'm serious, you are beautiful and so charming I'm surprised you're still single."

Here we go. It's time to mention the exes, and past relationships. I was so hoping we wouldn't have to go that far on the first date, but that's just my luck.

"I guess I was out of luck on that field. Somehow no matter how much I want a guy to be the one, they never seemed to be able to meet all of my expectations and criteria."

"Wow, you've set some high standards, huh?", Jared said and raised his eyebrow.

"I guess you could say that. I just know how much I'm worth, and I won't go below that."
