Mike pov

Waking up bright and early. He smiled as he sent a good morning text to Alex. They had been texting most of the night. And the remaining was spent dream about each other. They really did hit it off, and Mike really likes her. He plans on asking her on a date.

Mike finishes getting ready and heads down his stairs to see his mom cooking breakfast and his dad typing away on his Ipad.

"Morning Mom" He greets his mother with a kiss on her cheek. He grabs the plate his mother cooked for him and grabbed his fork about to enjoy his meal until his father speaks up.

"Come on, time to go"

"B-but I didn't even finish?" He mention towards his plate. His father only shrugs claiming he should have woken up earlier. And walks out.

He turns to his mother. She gives him a sad smile and hands him a bag. "Here, I made you lunch. And there is a breakfast sandwich in there" The young Chang smiled and hugged his mom giving her a kiss and thanking her along with a good-bye.

Alex pov

Alex was woken up by her mom throwing ice cold water on her.

"What the hell!?" Her mother just rolled her eyes and simply walked away.

Bitch Alex never liked her mother or father. But she did have good manners and learn to respect them and she won't get hurt.

She got up from her newly wet bed and checked her phone. She smiles brightly as she sees that Mike had text her.

From HotMike:
Good Morning gorgeous, hope you slept well. Talk to you later today💕

Alex heart fluttered as she say the heart emoji. What if that means something? Does he like me after one night? Em I that good? Nah who em I kidding, I'm ugly and weird. He probably just feels bad for me

To HotMike:
Morning Mike, I slept well thank you. Hope you didn't have to much fun with me in your dreams. Lmao Xoxo

She sent the text regretting what she had typed on the screen.

'Bing' she checked her phone.

Sadly not from Mike, but from her asshole father yelling at her to come down. She rolled her eyes and grabbed the dress that she had picked out from yesterday and slipped it on changing her bra and her panties while doing so. Her hair was naturally straight and she liked it. So she brushed it and headed down stairs.

Seeing her father on the phone as always and her mother flirting with the pool boy who looked oddly like the mohawk guy from yesterday she rolled her brown eyes and walked in the kitchen and saw her maid Martha.

Martha is the only person who sees her parents as horrible people beside Liz.
Martha loves Alex, she is like the daughter she never had. Martha is the only person who knew about Alex getting abused. She was ashamed of herself, Alex had scars on her stomach. She wasn't proud of it but she is also not scared of her parents.

Alex hears a 'beep' so she walks out and opens the passenger door.

Mike pov

"Mike, Best behavior son. Important people are their. And so are our worst enemies-"

"You mean your worst enemies"

"No Mike, You are a Chang. They hate Chang"

"Okay father. I get it" Without another word they drive in silence.

Pulling out his phone he sees the text from Alex.
