This was a short-story of my experiences in a high band during my freshman year of high school. I'd recently switched to a new instrument, the wonderful bass clarinet, and I was surprised by my abilities to adapt to this new instrument. The transition was very easy for me, and I was delighted to find out that I'd been selected to join the band I'd looked up to.
The name of this story, "LCHB," stands for the Lake County Honor Band, which I was inducted into.

I wrote this story at the event to calm my nerves before I took the stage with my fellow band mates.
