I had only one week to raise all the money and i only had 1000 dollars.
One day while i was in my bedroom Reading,someone rang the doorbell since i was with my mother and she was having a bath,i had to go open the door.When i opened the door i saw my grandmother,i hadnt seen her in a long time,so it was really strange to see her in my house.
She came in and asked where my mother was,we waited for my mother for about 20 minutes.When she came down she told me,my grandmother and her had to tell me something.
I still didnt know what it was but i was really nervous,my grandmother never appears at home one random day just to give me a surprise.Especially because i wasn´t one of her favorite grandaughters.
She gave me an envelope and told me to open it when she had already left.When she left i ran to my room and opened it.I thought i will be money for my trip but it was just a coupon for a trip to a hair salón.I knew she still hated me.
The signing was in 2 weeks but i needed the money in 6 days so i could take the plane to new york.I cried for about 5 hours until i had an idea.I remembered that about a month ago a men in the bar had told me that i was a great Singer.So i decided to try singing in the streets of Miami beach so i could raise some extra money since i dont have school now.I knew i would do it and so the next day i got the bus and went to Miami Beach got a cup i stole while i was working at Starbucks and started singing.
