Hyu yeon

I sat in a cafe, thinking about what I said for a long time. It was three years ago if not mistaken.

I lifted my eyes from my coffee to the table next to me. Someone was busy writing something.

Without realising, my sigh was heard by him. He turned around and I could see someone I've wanted to meet since the day we parted.

But he turned away.

"Excuse me sir....I-is your name....K-kim-" I began to ask but someone else took his attention.

I pulled back my words and sipped my coffee again.

If only I could meet Taehyung, I would hug him so tight and cry sorry.

Then I started being frustrated and shouted, "KIM TAE HYUNG YOU BETTER COME BACK TO ME OR GET OUT OF MY LIFE!!!"

And everyone in the cafe stared. I blushed.

Soon, someone was approaching me. He pat my head saying, "What did I told you? Be careful what you say little princess~"

I looked up slowly. My tears swelled.

I hugged him tightly. He was shocked by my sudden doing and said, "Hyu-yeon ssi....how are you?"

I innocently wiped my snot away with my sleeve and replied, "Pabo ya~ how can you leave Korea without me...."

His eyes were filled with sympathy that he cried a little too. "You can speak korean now."

"I'm not dumb....you little-"

Before I even finished my sentence he lifted my chin with both his hands and kissed me.

"Saranghaeyo." He said while pulling back slowly.

Speechless, I tried to avoid eye contact with him.

What is happening? I thought.

My body became warm all of a sudden and my cheeks flushed a crimson red. He giggled at my reaction.

"I can't stop thinking about you. I've been storing up my love, I thought it was best to let it go now."

"I-i...ve...been...t-thinking a-about y-yyou t-too.." I stuttered.

"And you took korean lessons too?"

I was shocked, "How'd you know?" My stutter was gone.

"Only my parents and your parents didn't lose contact with each other."

"B-but....h-how???"

He asked me to sit. Both of us talked for a long time.

He told me a lot about his studies. I told mine too. Quite boring right?

But it was great to talk to someone you've missed for three whole years.

"Hyu-yeon, did your parents tell you about the wedding?"

"What wedding?" I asked bluntly.
"Nevermind..secret" he said.

"Yah! Kim Taehyung..."

"No-no...call me jagi now."

"Since when did you have the idea?"

"Was kissing you not enough to make you say it?"

I shut my mouth and blushed again.

It was quiet for a moment then he said, let's go back to your house.

"Okay, jagi."

He laughed softly, "I'll drive you home. Your parents are so rich you're still using a taxi?"

"I refused to drive a Ferrari. It's way too much."

"Nevermind. Come."

He had his hands interlocked with mine my heart skipped a beat, in fact three beats. I was nervous, I had butterflies in my tummy, my head was screaming with my heart.

"Are you okay? Honey?"

My eyes were still wide open.

He gave a light kiss on my cheek. "You don't want to wait at the entrance do you?"

I began to feel cautious and stepped out slowly with him.

When we reached home, my parents were waiting outside the gate. Normally they won't do that but today.....

"Taehyung!!! My son-in-law how are you?" My father greeted Taehyung.

My mother hugged me and said "My grownup daughter."

Taehyung looked at me and said, "Mom, dad...we're having our first date tonight."

Since when did my parents became his parents?

"W-what f-first d-date???" I asked.

"Oh. I forgotten to tell you. We're going on a date tonight."

"I-i'm not r-ready y-yet..."

He brought me close and kissed my forehead. "I'll handle things for you."

From nowhere I asked, "Even when we have children next time?"

He laughed at my question, "Why, yes jagi...I had experience before."

"Oh."

My parents face lit up. They were like JAKSBEKSNSKAKSBSKSN WE'RE GONNA HAVE GRANDCHILDREN.

I stood like a statue because of all the sudden affairs they made without me knowing.

Is this really what I want?
