A love that died. ( Irene x shad)

The meeting

One day a young girl was wondering to a village she heard was being threatened by the man with a gift. This girls name was Irene (who was also gifted). She arrived at this village and she was asked to help these people who's farm land had been infected by the one they call Shad. Of cause being the kind hearted person she was, she help by using her magic to cleanse the soil and bring it back to it original state.

After helping the people she asked about this Shad and where she could find him. The kind couple who she had helped told her that he resigned in the deep in the woods and not to go looking for him, she went anyway after thanking the old couple. She wondered aimlessly through the woods look for this mysterious man. Suddenly out of nowhere Irene was attacked luckily she was able to block the attack but ended up on the floor.

Irene pov
"What was that for? Why did you just attack me for, I didn't do anything to you" Irene said. "Why did you come out to the woods? and who did you block my attack, nobody can block my attacks?" Shad replied. "I came her seeking out the man they call Shad, also your not the only one with powers."

Shad's pov
This girl came into the woods so my instincts told me to attack so I did but some thing was not right about her, she was able to block my attack, no normal human can do that. "What was that for?" the strange girl questioned. I staid quiet with thought running through my head. I ask how she blocked my attack and what she was doing in the forest. She replied with  "I came her seeking out the man they call Shad, also your not the only one with powers." I went to grab my weapon as I dropped it in my attack on her. As I grabbed it to finish I turned to see that she had disappeared. What is she I thought?
