After The Incident

Irene's POV:

Its been a week since the incident at okasis castle and I'd like to say that everything is getting back to normal, Esmund has started to forgive himself for not being able to protect his mother, Lady Rosa and Lord Edward have been taking it easy just incase my powers didn't fully heal Lady Rosa though from what I've seen I'd say she's fully recovered and will be able to return to her regular duties any time now.
Last night Menphia gained the favour of Lord Edward and set off with a search party headed to Falcon Claw to search for the missing soldiers and to see if any of them survived and enquire what is happening there as no communication has been sent back despite Lord Edward attempts to contact Lord James. I would have gone with them but I was informed that my audience with the royal family of Okasis would be the following morning so I was unable to accompany Menphia though I told her to send for me if she needed my assistance.

Irene: 'Esmund thank you for accompanying me to meet with your parents, how are you feeling today? If you need anything please let me know.'
Esmund: ' It's not a problem Irene, I am most happy to accompany you anywhere, you saved my mother and I am forever in your debt. As for how I'm feeling, a bit better, I still feel accountable for the fact I wasn't able to protect my mother who I hold dear to my heart but that monster that attacked us he wasn't normal it was like he had a relic with power exceeding mine but i wouldn't know how that is possible. Do you know why Lady Irene?'

Esmund's POV:

After I ask Irene my question she stopped in her tracks, her face puzzled and confused as if she had remembered someone she used to know.

Esmund: ' Irene are you ok? You've turned so pale?'

Irene: ' I don't know, I can't explain it but I just recalled i memory that I have no recollection of ever happening. I dont know how to explain it but all my life I remember being taught that there are 5 relics that are spread across the realms of this world that have been entrusted to different families throughout the regions. I have one and you have one but for some reason I just had a vision of me holding a relic that isn't mine, a relic that I gave to a young boy many years ago when I was still a child. The problem is, there is no other appearance of this child or relic in any of my memories it's like he's been wiped from existence.'

Esmund: ' Irene just calm down, I will start to look through all the history books on the relics while you meet with my parents. I'll look for anything regarding a sixth relic, if there is any notable information I'll bring it to you as quickly a possible.'

Irene: 'Thank you Esmund, I appreciate it. I'll await any information that you can find. I'll ask your mother if she'd know anything about it after my meeting. I'll had for the throne room now, once again thank you.'
