When Clay asks Jeff why you aren't dancing together.
"Hey man, why aren't you dancing with your girl?" Clay asked. "I'm scared to ask her I feel like she will reject me.." Jeff said in a sad tone. "You never know unless you try." "I mean I guess, now why aren't you dancing with your girl?" "Same thing I guess" "Then lets both go ask them"
With that said they both got off the bleachers and went towards you and Hannah Baker. You and Hannah have been friends ever since she moved here, you guys were inseparable. You liked Jeff and she liked Clay.
"Hey Helmet!" Hannah said in a loud tone so you could hear her over the music. "Hey Hannah" Clay replied.
Seconds later they both were dancing to a slow song. Seconds later somebody grabbed your waist and you jumped back and leaned into the arms of Jeff Atkins. You felt safe, he asked you to dance and you said yes. It was the best night of your life.
He brought you home and you shared a goodnight kiss along with Clay and Hannah awing to the moment. Hannah was spending the night so she got out of the car and said goodbye. Later that night we heard noises coming out from the streets. Then pebbles were thrown at my window. Hannah and I both looked out the window to see Jeff and Clay. My parents weren't home so we let them in to hangout and have a movie night. Then by morning they were out.
