"Mika, stop spraying the walls" Cat shouts in my ear. "No way. This is my career, I have to make money. To get off the streets" I shout back over the loud noises of the city streets. "It's against the law" Cat says, trying to be smart. "I couldn't care less, Cat. Excuse me but I have to get back to work" I motion towards my small set of spray cans. I take out the green one and continue spraying, continuing my reputation as the next Banksy.
Cat Dawkins is a young freckle faced redhead. She can be interesting or annoying. She is a mixed martial arts trainee.
Yuki, another friend, is Japanese, like me. She has dyed blond hair, and is in a small women's rights group. (I was going to join, but I wanted to focus on getting myself off the streets. I still wanted to graffiti, but, if I had a place, I would have my own walls to decorate. I still think that would be awesome)
Caia is a brunette. She is tanned, and she works as a tram driver.
There's also January, who has dyed silver hair, and is also Japanese. She works in a band, called Purple Is The New Black.
Then there's me. Mika Yamasaki, homeless graffiti artist. I have black short hair, dyed purple.I stare at the city streets, as cars speed by. I go back into the area I graffiti. It's a small hidden lane way, not many people know about. This surprises me because it leads directly into the city. "No more, Mika" a voice says.
