"Little do you know I'm still haunted by the memories" Chloe POV
Ahhh. A warm hand touches my shoulder. "It was just a dream." Mason reassured me. I frowned. "I'm sorry....I...it's my fault!" I screamed tears flowing down like a water fall on a Sunday afternoon. "No! Its...not...well, erm its your fathers. You couldn't control it." Mason said waving the guys in. "Red, you OK?" Jake asked, looking at the boys I smiled and wrapped my little arms around them and jumped on jesses shoulders. "So, what's today's plan?" I asked wiping my tears away. "Oh, going to the park..wanna come?" Asked chad rubbing his mini mustache. "Sure!" I said pulling my book bag over my shoulder. The boys followed me knowing what I would do if they didn't. My mum used to say-- nothing...nothing at all. "Come on. Open up to us, does our 10 year friendship mean nothing to you?" Jake said flipping his dark brown hair (Characters at end of chapter+ authors note)
"Well, I had another dream of my mum...but I saw my dad and I knew I could've stopped him...I didn't. I could but-- I didn't." My eyes soon started filling with the ocean making the dolphins stop swimming for a second. "No, you could've done anything...you were 5." Said jess pulling me and the boys in for a hug. I have always got along with boys rather than the "dramatically plasticity species known as: girl. "That's why I love you guys," I said accepting the hug and pulling the other boys in to join me, "Thanks for always being there." I said starting to see little bits of water from my cheeks and then sliding into my dimples.
"We love you too, red!" Said the boys nudging each other. The boys are literally my only family.
"K, dudes I just got a date with Nicki!!" Jess announced. "Congrats!" Me and the boys said. She bullied me, and if the boys knew we would be digging a grave right now, I dont look good in orange neither/nor black and white.
