I could hear her final breaths inhaling and exhaling, then suddenly it stopped. We were in the hospital so I yelled vociferously banging rapidly at the emergency speaker button. The hospital maids and doctors came rushing in the room. Everyone was DEAD silent. The doctor examined her and shook his head facing me. "If she's dead, she's dead" I said softly.
