CHAPTER I (Jackie's POV)

"Bye Mom, bye Dad." I said as I was about to go out the door but suddenly, "Ouch." My head hurts. When I faced back kuya Carlos, kuya Jo and kuya LJ was laughing. "What do you guys want I'm going now!" "Dad said I'm driving you today." Kuya LJ said. "Dad...why!?" I said in irritation. "LJ will drive you. It's the first day of school, there's a lot of traffic expected and with your kuya LJ's motorcycle you won't be late. So stop complaining just do it because I said it." dad explained. "But dad..." then he interrupted me "No buts do what I say Jaquelene Dominique." "Yes dad" I can already sense anger from him. After sometime..."Hey kuya LJ fasten it up you slowpoke! I'm going to be late! If I were you I was done minutes ago or I have eaten 3 plates. " I said a bit loudly "You wait, I'm still eating. And please don't shout at me when I'm eating, okay!" Kuya LJ said as he was eating his plate of Topsilog with the whole egg on his mouth. He eats like a lion. Now I have been waiting for him for about half an hour. Now it's 6:40am and I need to go to school at 7:00am. "I'm going to be late! If you're not going to put your butt off that chair I'm going to school by myself! And you explain this to dad. Enjoy your breakfast!" I said with a mocking smile. "Fine let's go now boss." he said as he was standing up and lazily getting the keys from the top cabinet. As we we're on our way to school I saw Zhen go into her mom's car. I was grinning like a psycho as we pass by her house going to school. "Hey Ms. Inattentive. We're infront of your school now! You can get off my Harley Davidson now!" my annoying kuya LJ said as we stopped infront of the school's main gate. "Ya...ya, I'm going down just wait Mr. Impatient!" I said answering him. "Just put your ass off my backseat could you!" he shot back. Then I went off his motorcycle but before I went inside the school I watched him drive away until I can't see him though with irritation I was still worried. Then someone tapped me on the back then I shrugged "What is it!?" I said as I was turning back but then I saw Zhen infront of me. "Hey chill bro it's just me no need to be that despicable!" Zhen said with a sweet smile on her face. "I'm sorry Zhen I was just really pissed off because of kuya LJ, you know." I said as we we're logging in. "Ya...I know." she said while chuckling mockingly. "Hey I'm goin' to see what section I am. See ya!" I said with a smile. But as I was going towards the main hall, Zhen called out my name and was running towards me and said "Hey let me come with you!" "Umm...okay?" I said, then someone threw a bag at my back real hard. "Ugh..." I said as I was turning around I saw Margareth picking up her bag as Marisse, Vanessa, Niko, and Julienne was laughing at me. "Hey stop the monkey business!" I said. Then I faced back not knowing Zhen was already walking towards me. Well that was close good thing she's inches taller than me. Then I slowly moved back then I awkwardly said "See you later then." After all that we all walked to the highschool building but as we walked I didn't realize that Zhen was right beside me. Then I felt a cold but soft hand touching mine then it was held softly but tightly. I actually didn't know that she was still with us so I was shocked. As we stopped infront of the classroom corridor. "Hey let go of my hand or I'll..." I said but then she interrupted me "Or you'll what!?" she said with a grin on her face "Umm...what if I tickle you do hard?" I said as I saw my real good friends past by us and went inside our classroom giggling. "Okay, fine. I'll let go of you're hand but hug me first" she said. "Dude, NO WAY!" I said but now I'm shouting. "Fine but if you won't hug me I will" then when she let go of my hand then I faced back and tried to walk toward the classroom but she got my right hip then she hugged me tightly. There was so many things running through my mind. I can feel that I am actually blushing ---- I think. This is so embarassing but I can't stop her and it's kind of okay because I like her. Then she whispered "I missed you so much Jack." I can feel her smiling. So it also made me happy then I whispered back. "Ya, me too Zhen I missed you too." I said but I was still not hugging her back for she trapped my arms under hers. Then the bell rang and then she finally let go of me. As they said 'saved by the bell'. And that's the start of my horrible, fun, weird, boring, random, crazy (romantic? [in my dreams]) school year starts. What a life I have don't I?! Effing Life. Life Sucks---so much.
