Amelia woke up with the anticipation of hanging out with Arizona later, Owen had already gone to work. Even though they were married, they had little to no interaction these days. She woke up, got dressed, made her coffee and drove to Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. She walked in, seeing trauma left and right as usual and everyone seemed busy. Although, standing at the end of the hall was a peaceful, beautiful Arizona Robbins. Amelia thought to herself how hot Arizona actually was but dismissed the thought immediately. Just as she was about to turn the other way, she heard the blonde call her name down the hall. Hey Amelia! Arizona said. Hello Dr. Robbins. Amelia is slightly trying to distance herself from Arizona afraid of what would happen if she got attached. Ill see you later right? she said this with her super magic smile. Yeah Ill see you later. Ok, goodbye! Before Amelia could say goodbye in return, Arizona was already rolling down the hall on her skates. Amelia was afraid of getting attached to Arizona and afraid of what would happen if she fell off the wagon, once again.

Later on Amelia was talking with Meredith and Maggie in the cafeteria. Meredith was talking about her surgery she had just performed with Miranda Bailey. Maggie realized how spaced out Amelia looked, and tried to bring her back to reality.
