Part 1 : The Mess

Levi's Pov

I had just woken up to my clean purely white house and the best thing about not having kids is that my house will stay this way.I was all set work today know that I only had some paperwork to finish from the case yesterday.

I stepped outside of my house and looking around in horror at at my beautiful front porch it was covered in muddy foot and hand prints, I stepped forward once again only to feel my foot nudge something. And there lying in who knows what was the sleeping culprit.

I probably would have kicked them (I won't choose if you are a girl or boy that's all you) if it wasn't assault.

"Hey get up"I said nudging it with my foot .It just just rolled over and complained.

"Five more minutes "it mumbled.

I just turned around and went back inside my house, only to come back out with a pail filled to the brim with icy cold water.

"You left me no choice kid"I dumped the bucket of water,but to my surprise the little goblin rolled out of the way and fell down the stairs.

"Hey Mister...What's the big idea?"the little troll said looking at me pissed off.

"Don't you know not to interrupt people why'll their sleeping "it said that glaring at me dead in the face.I was finally fed up.

"Listen here brat We're,going to find out who you Are,who your parents are ,but not before you take a bath"

"What's a bath?"

"Nevermind just go into the backyard "

"Okay,but I don't see why"

Narrators Pov

Levi proceeded into the backyard after you then went into the shed to get a garden hose and rope.

He ordered you to stand with your body pressed up against the giant oak tree the previous owner had stupidly planted and and by law he wasn't allowed to cut it down without a permanent which he applied for years ago,but was turned down.

You didn't dare question him after catching a glimpse of his icy blue eyes they shcocked you yes ,but were evenly matched by your fiery e/c orbs.

He had just finished tying you up when you realized what was happening.

"Hey Mister your not cleaning me are you?"The child asked cluelessly.

"Well how else are you going to be allowed in my clean car"He said turning on the hose.

15 minutes later you were squeaky clean and wearing your now washed and dried clothes...

After getting into the car and annoying Levi a little more you both finally reached his station.

Levi's Pov

  I walked into the office today only five minutes early commander erwin is going to have something to say about this.

  "Levi only five minutes early today...what is this you picked up a kid on the way? Interesting well take her down to see armin he'll do some research"He said.

  "What the hell did he mean by interesting."me and the kid say in unison.We look at each other then we both scoff and look away,this is not going to be a calm day.

"Corporal Levi I heard over the com you needed me"I pushed kid forward toward the rookie and began to leave.

  "Do a background check or something."I said just before I walked out the door,but stopped.

  "Hey Mister where are you going?"the kid said

"None of your business"and with that I left.

Your Pov

  "What's your name?"The blonde haired giy asked me.

"Y/n...just Y/n"I said clenching my teeth to keep from crying..

  "Well where are your parents?"he asked handing me a box of tissues.

  I  just knocked them out of his hand.

"Don't pity me,I  don't have parents there dead.But who really needs them anyways they were never around,heck they didn't even tell me my last name.Or even bother to remember my first one"I say breaking out into tears and wiping them away with my scratchy sleeve probably making my eyes red.

  "They just referred to me as, it,monster,goblin,troll or mistake"

"Well I'm so sorry Y/n,but could you possibly tell me how old you are and how long you've lived without your parents"

  "I'm 6 and I've been living without them for 2 years"

 "Okay do you like dogs?"he asked me looking at me with a wide smile.

  "Sure"

"Then follow miss Petra to our dog training facility "he says handing me over to a pretty looking girl.

  Levi's Pov

I had just finished my paperwork and neatly stacked and filled it.I was going to alphabetize it nexted well that was until someone knocked on the door.

  "State your name and business" I said already at K.

  "Armin Arlet and this is regarding the child sir"

  Timskip of Armin aka Coconut Head Explaining.

  "I understand Y/n's situation and I will bring it up with commander Erwin.Where is the brat now?"

  "With Jean and Eren at the Dog Training Facility"

  "That's all Alert"

"Yes Sir"

  I  knocked on the commanders door and surely enough he invited me in.

  "I  see Levi well I will try to find an orphanage that can take care of this child,but for now Y/n will remain in our custody and by our I mean yours have fun."And with Erwin left,I can't take care of a child,especially not this one.
