Breathing heavily, dilating pupils, splitting headache and struggling to keep steady. The white haired beuty limped down the hall. The darkness surounding her threatening to engulf her.
She brought the lamp closer to her face. The small flame flickering weakly. She swore and quickened her pace. It wasn't out of fear, no, she was running out if time.
She could just make out the end of the hall, the golden door. All she had to do was get there. But fate had other plans. A wave of pain shot through her, making her stumble and drop to one knee.
Her left hand tightened on the lamp while her right went to her chest. Glancing at the lamp, her breathing stopped. The flame got weaker until it finnaly died.
Time was up. Her lifeline was gone. The demons would now descend upon her. The door shimmered before fading out of existance.
The last thing she saw was a toothy grin, before three claws shot towards her throat..........
"NOOOOOO!"
