Percy Jackson: The Betrayal

Percy's P.O.V

My dad and I are just on our way to Olympus to decide if the gods are going to make me a god or not. When we were on our way, I couldn't stop thinking about if I was given the opportunity to be a god. What would happen to me? Will I ever get to see my friends again? Will the change of me being a demigod, to god be painful? All of the questions you could think of were running through my mind.

Once my dad and I got to Olympus, we walked into the thrown room seeing every god just talking about the Greek camp to decided if Mr. D's 'grounded' time is up yet. My dad then exclaimed with a powerful and full serious voice "ZEUS we need to have a new god with us." What I couldn't believe was how quick he got to the point and how serious he was. Zeus then said "Poseidon..Brother, if we did have a new god joining us who would it be? And who would be worthy enough?" My dad then responded with saying "My son here Percy Jackson should be the new god because of everything he has done for us, and a lot more than that."

After my father said this, everyone in the thrown room started yelling at each other for about 3 hours saying he was worthy enough. While Ares was arguing that he shouldn't become a god and just stay a Demigod. Zeus then stood up and yelled at everyone "STOP THIS IS MY DECISION, I WILL MAKE IT ON MY OWN SINCE YOU GUYS WON'T STOP ACTING LIKE CHILDREN." After he said this the whole thrown room went quiet and Zeus then said "Thank you....I have made my decision Percy Jackson, Son Of Poseidon....You will be one of us in one week in the next summer solstice."

Right when I heard this, my father then had a huge smile plastered on his face and also everyone else. (Except Ares because he had a frown on his). And I.......
