I woke up to my alarm sounding loudly. I frowned, sitting up and silencing it.
Another day.
I got out of bed, heading to my dresser and grabbing my uniform before heading to the bathroom to do my makeup.
No amount of makeup would really make anyone notice me. But I like to do it.
I did my makeup simply, listening to some music.
"Sara! Come downstairs!" My mom called in a happy voice.
I sighed, finishing my makeup with some lip tint. "Coming!"
I grabbed my phone and bag from my desk and made my way downstairs. I heard talking in the kitchen.
"Sara! I have great news!" My mom smiled, setting down her cup of coffee. "Your dad and I are going to a wedding in Jeju!"
I gave her a confused look. "That's... Nice? Why are you telling me?"
"Well, you'll be staying here," She said simply.
"But spring break is on Wednesday, I can miss a couple of days," I whined.
She rolled her eyes. "You have tests, honey. But there's good news for you as well."
"What? You're bringing me home a rock?" I sarcastically acted excited. My mom laughed.
"No. Jaebum will be coming home to watch you!" She clapped her hands together. "You haven't seen him in months!"
I smiled. "Jaebum is coming home?"
She nodded. "He didn't want you to be alone, and he has a short break from promotions. It'll be nice for you two to catch up,"
My smile didn't fade as I turned to the counter to grab a banana. "That's really great mom, thank you for asking him,"
I gave her a quick hug before I left on my walk to school. I put my headphones in and started my ten minute walk to the bus stop.
I can't believe Jaebum is coming home.
Most people are happy to be away from their siblings, but I'm happy when I get time with mine.
Jaebum was my best friend. I talked to him about everything. I just wish I had him here all the time, especially nowadays.
Once Jaebum left after being accepted at JYP, everyone was always up in my business with my brother; and it's not as nice as you would think it would be.
"Ya, Sara!" I heard a voice say behind me. I hesitantly looked over my shoulder, but was relieved to see my only real friend, Sanha. I took my headphones out of my ear.
"Hi, Sanha," I smiled. He jogged to reach up to me. "I have really exciting news!"
"Really?" He caught his breath. "What is it?"
"Jaebum-ah is coming home for the next few days while my parents are in Jeju!"
Sanha smiled. "That's awesome! Tell him Yoon Sanha says hello!"
I lightly slapped his arm. "You can meet him, you know,"
"I'm not worthy," Sanha stated, staring straight ahead with a serious expression. "But you better hope no one from school hears about it,"
I sighed. "You're right, I didn't even think about it,"
I didn't mind people being fans of Got7, but it got excessive. I didn't talk to Jaebum about it because I didn't want him to worry, or even worse; be upset with fans.
