Alcohol

He said that she was broken. Maybe it was just the alcohol talking or he meant it. But it made her think.
"I'm broken?"
"Well I mean like you are, like you're a mirror and everytime something happens to you, another piece of you breaks off, and I'm here to help put your pieces back together." He said.

She just got done talking about her real mom, who she never sees anymore, and she's done trying for her.
"After all the years she said she was changing, and was doing better, and that she loved me, I stopped caring. I hated never having something stable in my life. I don't trust her, I never have. I don't trust a lot of people." She explained.
"That's exactly how my dad was, but you can trust me". He said
They fell asleep, listening to old music he had, Seether and three days Grace.  She woke up to her alarm set for 530, "fuck", she thought, "I just wish I could stay here". She looked out the window realizing it was already light out.
"Shit". She hurried to put her shoes, and coat on. This is the part she always dreaded...leaving. She shook him awake, saying goodbye and kissed him on the cheek.
"God damnit", she whispered as she shut the door and started walking home.
She slowly started tear up, like she always did when leaving, she just hoped that it could eventually be where she didn't always have to sneak out to be with him. She liked this kid a lot, maybe a lil to much, but she had finally found someone who listens and helps. She wasn't gonna give that up, no matter what.
