They were still a little traumatized by the events that just occurred, but Gohan finally got Sharpner and Videl to start looking for food once again.
It was 15 minutes until the time Goku said to be back and all that happened was an attack by a buff burrito and a capture of a couple of Small animals like squirrel and rabbits.
"What are we gonna do? This is not enough to feed our whole class, let alone my father, Goten and I" Gohan said the last part in a barely audible whisper.
"Well...maybe we could...Fish? Yeah, Fish!" Sharpner suggested. He seemed to be very proud of himself.
"I hate to admit it, but the idiot's right." Hey! "We could fish, but I doubt we'd get enough fish for everyone" Videl commented with a frown on her face and hand son her hips.
"Hehe.... lets.. try. I think we'll get enough" Gohan said with his Father's signature smile.
TO THE POND *TIME SKIP SOUNDS* BLEEP BLOOP BLEEP BOOM
"So we made it to the pond, but where will we find any fishing poles idiot?" Videl questioned Sharpner while flicking his forehead.
"HEY! That hurt! And did you really expect me to think that far ahead?" Sharpener asked her with a throbbing forehead.
"I...I guess.. you're right?" Video commented a little confused as to why the idiot just basically insulted himself, but pushed it to the side after remembering he's and idiot.
"Thank you" he said with an accomplished smile.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Gohan appeared from out of the bushes in his trousers.
"G-GOHAN" Videl said, blushing like a ripe tomato. She seemed to be stuck like a statue, looking at Gohan's chiseled body. She always thought he was a scrawny punk...could she have been wrong?
"WHAT THE HELL MAN?!" Sharpener exclaimed with a glare, not as bad as Vegeta, but it was up there.
"What?" Gohan asked, confused.
"I thought we were gonna go fishing?" He asked again with an innocent look.
"YEAH WITH FISHING RODS YOU IDIOT" Sharpner exclaimed once again.
"Fishing rods? What are those?" Gohan asked completely dumbfounded.
Videl and Sharpner's jaw's dropped at the remark made by the smartest kid in class.
"Have...have you..never used a fishing rod before?" Videl asked curiously.
Gohan still stood there with a very confused expression plastered on his face.
"Like I just asked, what are they? Because I know for a fact I've never heard of them before" Gohan said to her.
"I-I...um it's this rod that you throw into the water with meat on it and once a fish bites it you pull it out" Videl explained trying to find the right words.
"That sounds like a complete waste of tools and meat" Gohan responded to her description.
"Well some of us like...." Videl started "...never mind" She finished with a sigh.
"Let's just get this over with, we don't gotta lotta time left yknow" Sharpner told both of them.
"Well you guys can use the fishing rods but I'm gonna do it the Easier way, plus I need a good swim to get all of this stress off" Gohan said while rubbing the back of his head.
"WELL TO US THIS IS EASIER" Sharpner yelled while holding up a stick.

While Sharpner and Videl had gotten a lot of fish, it would not compare to the huge ones Gohan had caught,

After all the gaping and wondering how Gohan did it by Videl and Sharpner, they quickly tried to get back to the "base", if you could call it that.
"Geez cmon we only have a couple minutes left" Sharpner said to Gohan and Videl.
"Well if you would HELP US we would get there a lot faster!" Videl screamed at him so loud he had to cover his ears.
"OK okay" He replied while uncovering his ears and holding a bag of medium sized fish.
"Umm Gohan are you sure you don't need help carrying those" Videl asked Gohan as she saw him hauling four large fish.
"Nah I'm fin-umm I mean I can barely handle it but don't burden yourself" he told her trying to keep the rest of his life a secret. Videl had a suspicious look on her face but for once in her life she just decided to go with it. It would probably get worse from there on if she reacted to everything so negatively.

Once they got to the camp, Gohan screamed (for his standards, we was basically talking a little louder) they were back and everyone slowly cramped out of their little huts. You could see all of them seeping with hunger while a huge fire was lit in the middle of the camp.
"That took you a lot longer than I thought Gohan!"

Me: because I'm actually dying inside and I have to pretend I have emotions and I'm-

Me: haha sorry I'm just really tired right now
