Chapter 4

Why am I crying? Why???

"Anna, it's your line," Rebel, who was sitting next to me whispered.
"I.... ummmm..." I didn't know what to say. I looked around at the Bellas. "Sorry, I can't do this." I stood up and ran towards the nearest exit.
Once I was outside and looked around to make sure that no one was there. And then I cried. I haven't cried this much since the day i talked to my mom on the phone a long time ago. Hearing her voice comforted me and I bursted in to tears. The only difference is that I'm not crying because I'm happy and relieved. Right now, I'm crying because I won't get to see the girls as much. I'll probably leave the set without telling Brittany how I feel.
Suddenly, I heard the door open. I assumed it was Kay or Elizabeth. So I was surprised when I heard Brittany.
"What happened? What's wrong?" She asked.
"Umm nothing! I'm just sad that we're leaving. But I'll be fine! Let's go back!" I said. I walked towards the door but Brittany stopped me.
"I know there's something else going on. I don't know what it is but I know that there's something else that's bothering you."
I looked at her. She had those beautiful blue eyes. My heart was beating faster and faster.
Is this the moment? Should I tell her now?
"No. I'm just sad that I won't get to hang out with you guys now that the movies ending. That's all!" I said. I forced a smile.
Brittany still looked worried. "Ok, if you say so. But if there's anything that you wanna talk about, ok always here," she said.
"Thanks."
We walked back to the set. I managed to get through the last scene without crying. Thank god.

There was a gift from the Bellas in my trailer. It had Taco Bell,  a cooking book, some CDs, and a ticket to the zoo to see red pandas. I gathered my stuff. And tried to find the cast to say goodbye to them.
It turns out that they were having a little party.
"Hey Anna! Come on! Join us!" Alexis said.
"Umm I have to leave. So that's why I wanted to say bye," I said.
Everyone walked up to me to hug me and say goodbye.
"We'll still keep in touch right?" Brittany asked.
"Of course."
"I might text you in the middle of the night," Brittany said laughing.
"I'll be awake watching Netflix anyway," I said.
She pulled me into a hug.
I left the set as fast I could. I drove home.
Once I was home, I unpacked all of my stuff.
Then I texted Brittany. Why did I text Brittany if it'll make me even more sad you ask? I don't know. I just did.
Me: hey Britt. You still at the party?

Brittany: no. I'm hanging out with my boyfriend. I'll text you later😘

Oh she's just hanging out with her boyfriend.
Wait what?
