Chloe Park, your everyday ordinary teenage girl living on the streets of Detroit Michigan. She's like your everyday teenage girl that you'd see either in public or behind a phone or TV screen. You don't see her any differently from anyone else. But Chloe is a complicated girl in many ways, and may I say that her life is one big puzzle, that always has that one main piece, and the only piece that can truly complete it.

-

Chloe lies in bed staring at her phone that sits across over near her desk. She groans as she gets up to grab her phone to check the time, but isn't it the usual? It's one of those nights where you do nothing but toss and turn and can only hope for the miracle that you'll finally fall asleep and wake up feeling refreshed, almost kind of like the girls who wake up refreshed in those TV shows or movies you see. But life isn't all fun and games, and it's definitely no movie. Life is nothing but simply having to live with everyday's depressing reality. Chloe picks up her phone "oh my god, it's nearly 4am" she says deep in her thoughts. Some times Chloe wonders why she can't just sleep like normal people do, like any site on the internet would say that 7 to 8 hours of sleep is what every person should get each night, especially if you want to wake up refreshed. But oh no, even Chloe knows it's not THAT simple.

-

Chloe climbs back in bed with her phone in one hand, and the other gripping her bed sheets, of course all of her friends are asleep. And alls she wants is someone to talk to until she at least gets tired. She doesn't even know what could possibly be bothering her, after all. The only reason she was stressed out was because of her lack of sleep. She had texted at least 5 of her friends within the span of 5 minutes, Chloe sits and impatiently waits for a reply. She felt as if she was just being desperate, but apart of her feeling stressed and alone. At least 10 minutes later Chloe starts to doze off while she sits in an upward position, and her head starts falling to the side to rest onto her shoulder. Her eyes close one second, the next second they open to the sound of her phone dinging. "Why don't ya look at that?" Chloe mumbles to herself out loud. "John is online" she says in an excited quiet voice, obviously she doesn't want to wake her parents. John texts her saying "what's wrong Chloe? You seem stressed again. You can't sleep?". Chloe texts back with a firm reply and a small sentence "I can't sleep." John was surprised by how straight forward she was, obviously something was up right? Of course John knew her more than anyone else, even though Chloe has other friends she always felt she could be more open with John, then again he had never broken her heart once. And she felt safe around him, the feeling was warming to Chloe, and it's a feeling she knew for sure she never wanted to lose. Because it was also the feeling of happiness and relief.

-

John replied "hey, since you can't sleep how about we have a little fun? I don't know most of your other friends. But why don't ya add me into a group chat with one of your girl-friends, and we can all chat until everyone dozes off?". Chloe smiled, John was truly the most helpful person she had ever met. He always suggested things to her whenever she was feeling stressed just so she'd feel some sort of relief. Then again, John really did care for her. And man did she care for him. Chloe agreed and decided she would invite her friend Amayah into a group chat with John, of course she didn't see the problem with introducing her close friend to another one of her close friends? She thought it'd be nice for them to get to know each other, but little did she know that after she made that group chat, things were going to change dramatically. Her life was going to change. And maybe even that large puzzle that takes a big part in her life, was going to for sure be damaged, but is it damaged permanently?
