Kaitlin's POV

I dream of wild mustangs galloping across the open green. I'm on my favorite horse named Katie, she is a dream (literally). My blonde hair whips back and forth from the wind hitting my face. I look around with my bright green eyes, no one can stop us now, no one can even catch us. We're flying through the air, like we're almost free. But not free, cause then my mom comes and ruins it all. The mustangs, the open land, my dream horse, it's all gone. I see her and I cringe away from her. She has her fists clenched at her side with fury in her eyes. I want to scream and run but I can't move. She comes at me with full force. She starts to kick me and punch me, she keeps saying that it's all my fault. I'm about to run away when all goes black.

I woke up to a loud screech. I look around and see myself in an airplane. I'm moving to Atlanta, Georgia, to begin a new life. My life wasn't to bad up in Tennessee, I had all the horses I could dream of. I was the captain of our basketball team. Everything was perfect until one day my mother and I got bad news. News that would ruin my life. News that made my mom beat me, for an unknown reason. The news was that my dad died in the war. You could say we were close but we grew apart when he joined the army. We had a common interest: horses. All our life had revolved around horses. He taught me everything I know about them. How to ride, how to brush them, how to love them, how to care for them, and how to envision them while I'm dreaming; he was a part of me and now he's gone.

I'm getting off the plane now. I have never noticed how rude Atlanta people can be. They push me like I'm a stroller, even if I'm built for my age. I might look strong, but on the inside I'm a coward. I'm scared of my defenseless mother that beats me, I have never felt so weak before in my life.

I grab my bags and I'm getting ready to leave the airport. I look around and see a VERY handsome boy with brown hair coming towards me.He doesn't see me standing there so he practically runs me over. I drop all my luggage that I was carrying and fall on the floor. The boy turns around and looks at me with sorrow in his dark blue eyes. These dark blue eyes are about to swallow me whole when this handsome boy says something. I wasn't paying attention, so I look at him funny.

"What?" I say with a dumb smirk placed on my face.

He looks down my body and smirks a little. I give him a death glare for being such a guy. He places his hand down so he can help me up. I take it gladly realizing I probably look stupid on the floor. He greets me with a smile when I'm off the floor.

"What? Do you like running over people and then smiling at them cause they probably look stupid? Because I don't find it very funny," I say while dusting off my pants. I look up from dusting my pants off to see him trying not to laugh.

"What?? What's so funny?" I say with tension in my voice.

"Uhh. Your. Um. Luggage." He says while trying to hold in his laugh.

I look down at my luggage to see that it is sprawled across the floor and gushing clothes out everywhere. You know what's even more embarrassing, my Victoria Secret bras and underwear are on the top of the pile so everybody can see them. I feel the heat come to my checks. I jump to where my clothes are sprawled out and start picking them up as fast as I can, hoping that no one has seen my bras. I get all my clothes in my suitcase and look around to see if anyone seen that happen. No one seems to be laughing so I get up to see the blue eyed boy still standing there with a smile on his face. I don't think I like him as much as I did before, I think to myself. I turn to walk away to get rid of this embarrassing moment but I feel a hand on my arm holding me back. I turn to see the handsome boy holding me back.

"What do you want? Haven't you embarrassed me enough??" I say trying to pull my arm away but he doesn't let go.

" No, I didn't mean to run into you," he says while looking down at his shoes,"I mean I'm sorry. I should start watching where I'm going and with this new city and all it just gets to my head."
