Prologue.

Liberty's POV

I almost scuff my Loubitons walking on the rough Bristol sidewalks, I make it to the bus stop.

I run a hand through my hair, and I stand in front of the bus door, the scenery unfamiliar to me.

"I-I don't have any money..." I say,

"No money no bus ride." The old man says bitterly, chewing tobacco stained teeth.

I whimper, the door clatters to a close and it zooms off, thank goodness it's not raining.

I'd be soaked with that disgusting water, where people tap off their cigarettes, and spit, and drop trash.

I cringe thinking about it,

I lost my Chanel clutch, I lost my phone, and I'm already conflicted as is.

I'm very sensitive.

I sit at the advertising bench, that ironically has my last name on it and I feel my eyes water,

"Don't cry..." I whisper to myself, wiping under my eyes because I'm already crying, I sniffle.

I see a large buff figure stop and I usually would be scared, but I just want to get home.

"Trouble in paradise?" I hear the warm, sarcastic voice say.

I look up wiping my eyes,

He's so handsome, in a tough way, not like any of the guys up town.

I feel my cheeks heat up,

"Leave me alone..." I say trying to sound less weak.

"Stand up, doll." He says and holds out a large hand.

My mum said I have princess hands, while she painted and did them all nice and pretty.

I take it, his hand devouring mine, and he checks me out,

Disgusting.

"Ugh!" I say, and I turn around to start walking away,

His arms wrap around me,

"Don't touch me!" I say, and I hit his arm.

"Calm down, princess."

He turns me around and I get a good look at his facial structure.

He seems so tough but his face reminds me of a puppy, and he has light brown hair styled up in a quiff, he's beautiful.

"You don't belong in this part of town, yeah?"

"I-I don't even know where I am..."
