Chapter one-
"What are you talking about, you don't need to tell me that, obviously Halie would say that about me." Brook said.
"Well I just thought you should know because Halie well, you know hates you" jalina says in a suspicious way.
"What! She doesn't hate me, I don't know why you would say that."
"BROOK FOSTER. I want to see you after class." says Mrs. Jhonson.
"Oops" she says sheepishly.
I'm sitting there pressing my lips together trying not to laugh. But suddenly it spills out of me. Hahaha.
"Mia Cortez! I will see you after class to."
"Okay" I say while still laughing.
*RING*
"Ladies please come up here." Mrs. Jhonson says in a fierce voice. "Now what shall your punishment be. Maybe perhaps detention."
Me and Brook look at eachother in a weird way, like were trading thoughts with our looks.
"Well. What do you think Brooky boo?" I ask her. We both chuckle.
"We shall take the honer of detention." she says in a proud way.
"Maybe two Saturdays of detention would work." Mrs.jhonson says
"No no no. that won't be necessary." I say in a startled way.
"Well then I'll see you both Saturday."
Mrs.Jhonson says
"Yes ma'am" we both say at the same time.
"So what are you doing tonight?" I ask brook.
"Nothing really." she says
I set my books in my locker while noticing that Nate Hayes was standing not to far away.😍
"Girl get a hold of yourself. Nate has a girlfriend."
"I know but he is still so hot." I say
" Why you keep looking at him girl. Get over it he is the most popular guy in the school. and if Halie saw you all over him, girl you'd be in the nurses office right now with a black eye." She says
"I don't know if you know this but I've calculated every point in my life. And if I'm right me and Nate are ment to be." I say like she's supposed to support me.
"So sense your so dreamy over Nate I'm going to go to class before I'm late."
"Okay." I didn't help to notice that it had been 5 minutes after class had started, when I finally got there.
"Mrs. Cortez. your late."
"I know and I'm so sorry. Mr. white."
I say in a way to let him know that I don't want to stay five minutes after class.
"So today we'll be working on the history of ancient civilization. in the late 15 hundreds." he says
Why do we have to learn about the past when we can talk about the future. for instance me and Nate. wow how boring is this listening to an old guy talk and talk and talk.
"Pst"
I hear a voice behind me.
It's Nate act cool.
"What do need?" wow real cool Mia
"Can I borrow a pencil?"he asked
"Sure."😶I stutter when I say that.
"Here ya go." I say.
"Thanks." he sayed
Omg Nate asked me for a pencil. hehe.
