"Scarlett!" my teacher, Mrs. Brantley yells from the front of the classroom, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I look up at her questioningly, while she looks at me annoyed.
"Do you have an answer?" She asks.
I look t her confused and she points to am equation on the board. I nod in understanding and read the equation. By now half the class is looking at me, but I ignore them. I figure out the answer and hold up 6 fingers while looking at Mrs. Brantley. She nods and writes my answer Ok the board.
"Correct." She replies.
Everybody turns around band most of them whisper to their friends. I copy down the work on the board.
20 minutes later the class ends and we're dismissed. I grab my notebook, stuff my papers inside and leave the classroom. As I'm walking to my next class someone bumps into my shoulder and my stuff falls to the ground. At the same time I hear someone behind me mumble 'freak' under their breath.
I kneel on the ground and pick up my stuff. When I stand back up I see people staring at me. Some laugh to their friends, others look away as soon as I look at them.
The rest of the day passes by pretty quick. When I gt home I empty my pockets and eat dinner. After dinner I set my alarm and go to bed.

Sorry its so short, longer parts are coming I promise
