Brown

I am the color that you associate with disgust

I am the color that that you look and laugh at when others wear me

I am here to say that I am more than that

I am the color of your mother's eyes

I am the color of the chocolate that comforted you when you were down

I am the color of your childhood bear that stayed with you through thick and thin

I am the color that takes something from all of the others

I am the lovely color of the coffee that warms you in the morning before anyone else sees you

I am the color of mud that you splashed in when it rained outside for three days and nights

I am color that makes hair glow in sunlight and make you see shades you thought you'd never see from me

I am better than you thought I am

I am around you in places that you'd never think of

I am brown

White

It doesn't make you cry, but it wipes away the tears when you do

The color of purity that is always tainted easily

The color that you can't see on paper unless you get creative

The color that you go over on paper and hides behind the colors

The color that you see when you get closer and closer to a loved one eyes

The color of small dandelions that fill a field and are so full of hope that they are almost blinding

A color that you see when when looking at an overcast sky not yet ready to precipitate

It is the color of a blizzard roaring and turning over and over again in the wind full of intent and careful uncaring

It can be so beautifully blinding that you look away and forget that it's there

A color that is tainted and cleaned never to be the same again

A color that is meant to turn into something better

It is white
