I walked through the front. I had shopping I had shopping bags in my hands. I tried to be as quite as possible.
"Where were you" Cheryl asked
"I... went out" I said
"You.. you went out" She teased
"Yah with-" I was cut off
"Was it with that boy. You're almost as slutty as your mother" I gasped at her words
I know my mother and I don't get along, but Cheryl shouldn't talk about her like that. I just hope she leaves soon.
"Anyway my husband is about to get here. You should go and get ready" She explained
I walked up to my bedroom. I didn't know what she wanted me to wear. I decided to go formal. I wore a short silver dress and some black pumps.
I walked down to the dining room. Cheryl was putting the food on the table. Her husband was already there.
I sat across from him. He was a handsome man. I'm surprised that he and Cheryl are married.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Macy" I smiled
"I'm Dylan" He said
Cheryl took a seat. She smiled at both of us. Clearly faking it. I started to eat as soon as Cheryl and Dylan did.
"So Dylan how was your flight" Cheryl asked not really caring
"It was good, better than usual" He said
Then it went silent for a couple of minutes. I ate my food slowly. Cheryl smiled the whole time.
"I was hoping I could go out after school tomorrow" I said in an asking way
"No you can't. We need to make the house comfortable for Dylan" She frowned
"Cheryl, Honey, let her go. I mean you're only a teenager once" He smiled at me
I decided to like Dylan for now. He kinda opened up the better side of Cheryl. And if Cheryl was happy we all were happy.
"Fine. Macy you can go" She gave in
"Thank you" I looked at my plate
"I'll be back in a minute" Cheryl got up and left
I went back to my food. The thought of being alone with Dylan scared me. Cheryl was my only protection.
"So Dylan what do you do for a living" I asked awkwardly
"I work in a studio" He said
"Oh, for music or..." I trailed off
"Yes music" He said
Cheryl walked back in with a smile. She had looked a bit overwhelmed. I hope she was alright, even though I don't like her very much.
Then the phone rang. Again Cheryl was up. It only took a few seconds. She came back with a frustrating look on her face.
"Are you alright" Dylan asked
"Yes, perfect" She said
When dinner was over, I helped Cheryl with the dishes. She was in a better mood. My phone rang and I picked up.
"Hey" I said
"Hey so umm listen" I could tell it was Robbie
"Yah what's up" I asked
"I need you to bail me out of jail" He said
"What? Why are you in jail" I lowered my voice
"Something happened" He sighed
"Well don't you have parents" I asked
"Yah but they will kill me" He said
"...I..I can't. I'm so sorry. Get Jax or someone else to" I said
"It's fine" He said before hanging up
I walked back to the dinner table. Cheryl and Dylan had a worried expression on there face.
"What was that" Cheryl asked
"It was nothing" I smiled
Sitting on my plate was a brownie with ice cream. I took my fork and stabbed into it. I put the piece in my mouth and ate it.
When we were all finished, I ran up to my room and changed into a pair of jeans and a tee shirt.
I walked down the stairs. Cheryl and Dylan saw me and asked me what happened.
"My friend is in prison and I need to bail him out" I said
"What which friend" Cheryl asked
"..... Robbie" I said
"Well take the car and go" Dylan said
I ran out the house and into my car. I drove to the only prison in the area. I went in and saw Jax.
"Hey Jax, what happened" I asked
"We need to bail Robbie out, but I don't have enough money" He said
"Let me pay" I said pulling out my wallet
"No" He said
"I insist and my parents won't care" I said
"Are you sure" He asked
"Positive" I pulled out the money
"You know you don't have to" He said
"I want to. $500 right" I asked
"Actually... we have to get Marcus out to" He sighed
"Alright whatever" I sighed
I quickly got out the money and gave it to Jax. He went over the cop sitting at the desk. He came back to me.
"Well..." I asked
"I guess we wait" Jax smiled
Then a cop brought Robbie over to up. He looked messed up. I really want to know what happened.
"Thanks so much for bailing me out Jax" He said
"Actually I didn't" Jax explained
"Who did then" Robbie asked confused
"Macy paid the whole thing" Jax said
"Oh, I thought you wouldn't come" He said quietly
"Well I did and I bailed both you and Marcus out" I explained
"Thanks" He said
We walked back to my car. I didn't think Robbie would want to be my friend but he said thanks.
"You guys wanna come with me" I asked
"Yah, can you drop me home" Jax asked
"Me too" Marcus said
"Me three" Robbie laughed
I dropped everyone home. Jax was last because he lived closer to my house. It was really quite.
"We're here" I said
"Thanks" Jax said
He opened the door and was about to get out. Then he turned around and kissed me. I pulled my hands through his hair and sucked on his lips.
We both pulled back from the kiss. He looked in my eyes like he made a mistake. I just smiled. He ran out the car.
I tried to stop him but I gave up and left. I drove back to my house. Cheryl and Dylan were watching a movie.
I walked up to my room quickly and got into my pyjamas. I looked on my phone. I had lost a follow on Instagram and a friend on Facebook
