first I want to say that I picture Fauna as Jennifer lawrence with blonde hair (dark eye make up), and Melody is a young Bella Thorne with more a rosy blonde hair(Absolutely no make up whatsoever). okay back to the story.

"A chocolate smoothie, and some fries," Melody carefully folds the menu.

"I love the dandelions in your hair! it is so beautiful!" comments the waitress.

"Thankyou," Melody silently nods as she picks at her fingers. A small baby in the next table laughs and giggles. She has blonde ringlets that bounce around her fore head. She laughs a teethless laugh as she reaches over and plucks a dandelion from Melody's hair.

"Petty Floweh . . ." she coos. Her mother scolds her.

"Oh Hope, you can't do that!" she takes the dandelion away and hands it back to Melody.

"Oh, it's alright- let her keep it- I have plenty more 'flowers' at home," she chuckles handing the flower back to the baby. The baby's mother nods in thanks and then scolds the baby for attempting to put the flower in her mouth.

"That was very kind of you Melody," says Esther as the food arrives.

"We have plenty of dandelions at home," she silently nicks a bite from her chocolate shake- covered french fry and plucks it inbetween her teeth.

"Yummy," she smiles. She downs the shake carefully along with the delicious fries and they leave for home.

The air smells sweet as they arrive home to the feild of swaying dandelions and the gentle blue cottage bathed in the melting sunset. Melody carefully takes the dandelions from her rosy, red hair and sets them on her dresser. They were no longer a lovely gold but now a sagging brown. Her hair now remained only in the weave that her mother had it in.

She carefully unpins her hair, and let it cascade down. Her hair cascaded down past her waist. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was constantly. Esther walks in with a tray of cookies and milk.

"You took your hair out," she points out.

"The pins and the weight of my hair were starting to hurt my neck," she relates as she brushes out her hair. Esther sets down the tray of cookies and milk. Melody carefully rolls the cookies into little cookies dough balls, dips them into the cool milk and eats them in one bite.

The cookies are gone sooner then thought.

"I'm tired mother, I think I'm going to go to bed," she yawns tiredly. Esther nods and her daughter lays down in bed, Esther tucks the covers to her chin. Melody falls asleep in the warm cocoon of her mother's voice.
