The forgoten vault

The begining of the end

It takes about a day for every thing to quiet down. None if us has the courage to open the door! Ferret plays with some combs of my dads wile Amada and I sit in the bath tub!

"Jack.... I'm so scared..." Amada quivers!

"Don't worry everything will be fine! We just need a plan" I say comforting her. Amada snuggles into my chest and I rap my arms around her.

"So what's the plan?"

"I think we need to find a way put of the vault..." I wait for a response.

"I would say no but none of us know what's realy out there!" Ferret finally says

"Then we agree. We leave the vault."

"Yes and I think I know a way."

"ok lay it on me?"

"My dad is the overseer. So he has the overseers secret passage to the entrance to the vault! But the hard part is its Locked by password on his computer in his office were the passage is!"

"But what's out there? In the rest of our vault I mean." Says Amada

"I'm not sure. But I think it's time to find out"

"Wait!" Says ferret " we need to be armed just in case there's something bad!"

"Ok well there's my bat, a golf club, a sledge hammer, and my dads 10mm pistol!"

"That will do!" Says ferret

"I call the hammer!" Says Amada getting excited!

The bat is in my room were I left it and the hammer and the golf Club are in the closet. The pistol should be in my dads room!

We walk out quietly, one at time! None of us know what to expect! I am the first to go! I quietly yupp toe to wear my dads dead body WAS. The blood is still there but it looks like his body was dragged out of the room.

I walk through a small hall to my room and grab my bat off my bed. I make my way back down the hall and grab the 10mm pistol out if my dads side table! I meet ferret and Amada back the end of the hall! I can't see through the windows to get a better look out side.... There covered in blood. What ever happened here was horrible and messy!

"On three every one! One....tw-"

"Wait" Amada cuts me off."what do you thinks out there?"

"I'm not sure Amada... Maybe it could be mutants from that one vault we learned about in class? Maybe the vault security robots revolted!"

"We'll what ever it is I hope we can handle it."

Don't worry baby I won't let anything happen to you!"

"Eeeewwwwyy!!! You guys are so wierd!" Ferret says jokingly!

I give him a questioning look. And I begin to count.

"On three, one....two....three!!"

We open the sliding door to find the corridors and halls covered in blood! Most if it was gathering in puddles wile the rest dried slowly.we walked with high caution, until we herd voices and foot steps and hid around a near by corner!

"Haha! we slaughtered these worthless fuckin vault dwellers" said the first voice

"Yeah I can't believe they didnt have any jet or med-X!" Says the second voice.

"Worthless!"

"What! Your the one that got me addicted!"

"What ever the fuck you say!"
