Everyday, Rebecca wakes up at 6:00 a.m. to get ready for school, and everyday she does the same hairstyle. She puts her flawless, long, straight, Brunette hair with Amber Brown highlights up in a pony tail. Then, she put on her favorite outfit ever, her white Romper shorts with designs of blue flowers on it, and the tan sandals her mom gave her. She wore those sandals everyday in the summer. Which totally matched her Bronze skin tone.
After she got dressed, Rebecca left her room and walked down the stairs to eat breakfast her mother had made. She ate her pancakes and bacon with Orange Juice, then thanked her mom and walked into the bathroom to brush her teeth before her mom dropped her off at school. When she was done brushing her teeth, she walked out the door and into her mom's car, where her mother was already waiting for her. Her mother is always in the car waiting for Rebecca after they eat breakfast. They buckled up their seat belts and her mom started driving.
They arrived at her school at approximately 6:45. Perfect timing! Rebecca got out of the car, said goodbye to her mom and her mom said the same, then drove away. There she was, still 5 minutes later, staring at the school afraid to walk in. But then there was a angel like, soft voice that said hi to Rebecca. She turned around to see if they were talking to her or if they were just on the phone talking behind her. When Rebecca found out the girl was talking to her she replied with a pleasant hello. The girl introduced herself as Sophina. Right after Sophina introduced herself, Rebecca introduced herself to Sophina. Sophina complemented Rebecca's name as Rebecca complimented hers. She whispered to Rebecca, about how she was scared to walk in because of the bullies and rude people, especially Daniella, the meanest of them all. Rebecca told her she was also scared. But that's when It clicked in her brain. She asked Sophina if she wanted to walk in together as friends, she happily accepted the offer.
They walked into the school as proud friends, almost looking excited for the first day of school!
Once they got their schedule, Rebecca and Sophina both simpered at each other, they perceived that they had the same schedule, and their lockers weren't very distant so they could walk to class together. Rebecca was very pleased with her schedule, as was Sophina.
They both had got the classes they wanted along with when they wanted them. Math for Period 1, Language Arts/Reading for second, Phy Ed for third, History/Social studies for fourth, Science for fifth, Take a break for Lunch, then Choir for seventh period, For the last but not least was French Class.
They realized they were almost late for the first class of the new school year so they ran to Math, which was on the complete opposite side of the school. They made it having 1 minute to spare. As they were looking for a place to sit there were only 2 desks open next to each other, in the back of the class. Sophina bumped Rebecca on the arm to tell her, she despised sitting in the back of the class, Rebecca replied back stating that those were the only two seats open where they could sit. Sophina asked her about the two seats in the front that were open, Rebecca explained that those seats are reserved for Daniella and her best friend Vanessa. Sophina acknowledged what Rebecca was saying, so they took their "reserved" seats in the back of the class. Soon after they took their seats Daniella and Vanessa walked in and took their seats. Right after everyone was seated, the teacher walked in.
The teacher introduced herself for those who are coming new and to refresh the memories of the old ones. She informed the class her name was Ms. Johnson.
As she introduced herself she insisted they play a bonding, get to know you game.
Rebecca and Sophina looked over to one another in noticeable sadness. You could tell, they both hated playing interactive games with others, or games in general.
