I open my eyes and only see black I feel nothing hear nothing

But then I hear it

A voice "wake up please it's been a month please wake up ." And everything goes white and I hear all these beeps and am blinded by light

The doctors said Jamie passed out from stress and blood loss that his mind reacted before he could. what he didn't say was that he wouldn't wake up for a month. Jamie suffered internal bleeding in his anus.
Since the fucker went in dry and with no prep.

I'm here sitting with him ,Tommy went to day care, hoping he would wake up
"wake up please it's been a month please wake up Jamie" I awaited a reaction foolishly but got none getting up ready to get a coffee I hear a slight "hello"

Walking towards him I try not to cry he looks so weak and confused

"Jamie"
"Dan? Where are we why are you crying"
"You're in the hospital love"
Recognition came to his face and he started balling not allowing me to comfort him
"Y-you saw he -he were is he?"
"He's dead jamie he was shot in the heart they pulled him out of you and you were cleaned up"
I went to call the doctor and he said jamie will be discharged after some test and since they came clean he told me to take him home but in bed rest for a week or so. To watch for a drop in depression or suicidal tendencies.

Jamie is still being watched by the Mafia and they have a price on his head but I won't let them touch my husband even if he forgot about me I'll kill them all and get him to safety or I'll die trying.
