I see her standing in the rain, just as high and mighty as ever. She is waving at me. It seems that she is wearing my old black leather jacket, and what looked to be dress. I sigh to myself before wrapping myself tightly in my blanket and heading out to see her.
I put my hand on the doorknob and hesitate before gradually turning it. I hear the click of the stopper turning in, then I push open the door and let the cold of the storm drown me. I walk outside and surrender myself to the suffocation of the storm. My hidden secrets poured down me like the rain, but it was to consuming. I couldn't move, and I feared I was stuck there. Then I heard her voice
"Are you going to stand there all day? I won't wait for you forever you know... wait I forgot, yes I will, but only for you." I instantly snapped out of my state of terror. Her voice was even sweeter then I remembered. Like honeysuckle, an unmatched sweetness, but addictive and very limited.
"What do you want?", I asked in a struggled voice almost as if I was choking on my own words. " Why so rude? You used to be such a gentleman, I don't think I can talk to such a vulgar man."
"*sigh, what brings the pleasure of your company my love." I then lean down and kiss her hand. " That's more like it. I decided to drop by to pay you a visit. It's so tedious being without you, you seem to make things so much easier." She strokes down the side of my face. I am about to speak when she puts one finger over my lips. "Shhh... you're so much calmer when you don't speak."
She keeps petting my face, and I close my eyes absorbing the surprising warmth coming from her hand. She is like a star always bright and warm, and right as I open my eyes to catch a glimpse of this star's beauty, it hits me. Reality sets in and I see she is soaking wet, and her hand is cold and shivering. " We need to get you inside," I say in what seems to be a whisper. " Don't you fret about me, your blanket is soaked." I feel the sudden chill of my rain soaked blanket on my shoulder. " I don't care, we're going inside." With that I picked her up and carried her inside. Once indoors I laid her on the couch and thought to myself, " What's happening?"
