•Chapter Two
Allison's POV
I awake to a familiar voice, "Miss, we've arrived to our destination, may I ask you to gather your belongings and board off the airline." coming from the mouth of Harry I recall is his name, I'm too tired to remember at this very moment. He's the first attractive flight attended I've ever seen. I notice that he has some sort of accent and it is really adorable, I think it might be like German or British or something.
I react quickly to his speaking and try folding up the blanket, but I'm stopped in the process. Harry took the blanket from my hands and threw into a bin on wheels where other people's blankets have been placed. I try and give him a sincere smile before I walk past him and retrieve my carry on from the compartment.
Did I really sleep the whole entire way? I didn't even get to see the view from above, over the ocean. I was so excited to see what it looks like even though it is just water.
I make my way to the exit where two women stand waiting to what looks like go clean up after people's messes they made aboard. The quick glance I get from walking over the cross walk is beautiful. I cannot wait to be able to explore this wonderful country.
I soon realize that I left my cell phone inside of my cup holder on the plane. By the time I am able to convince the attendant to let me back onto the airline to retrieve my cell phone, Harry is headed towards me. It looks like he just got done running to find something specific. He stops right in front of me and pulls my cell phone out of his pocket. He holds it out in my reach for me to get a hold of it. I thank him while giving him a caring smile.
"You're very welcome!" he replies with a smirk that makes his dimple stand out and while giving a cute little wink.
Why does he seem likes he's up to something. He is a complete stranger to me and I'm kind of creeped out by the fact that he looks suspicious for doing something he shouldn't have been doing but at the same time I'm not. He finally decided to turn around and walk away from me before I can even make a movement or finish my thoughts.
I do the same as him and make my way off the crosswalk of the plane. When I get off an employee had instructed me to take a left, where I can pick up my luggage.
It might be like mid-day, but I'm not sure. The time has changed on me and I'm going to have to get used to a difference like that.
I take the time to look around for the nearest person to ask what time it is. There's a women that actually looks about my age who I decide to inquire, "Uhm, hi, I'm from America and I know there is a big diffrence in time change. Would you mind letting me know what time it is at the moment?" I ask shyly.
She responded with the time of 5:27 and rudely walked away with a bit of eye rolling.
"Uh, rude", I mumble under my breath. I hope not everyone in Ireland is like that.
First of all things I need to get settled into my dorm room. I had to dig through the front pocket of my suitcase to find the address. Got it!
I gather my luggage together and I'm heading toward the airport exit. This airport looks the same as any other airport I've ever been to, I thought it would be different because it's in a different country but it's like the exact same as American ones.
I find my way to the side of the road where I can catch a cab. Whistling a few times and waving your hand into the road usually catches the cab drivers eye. It must work different here than it does where I'm from.
I try and try to get a hold of a cab but I cannot catch the drivers attention. I sigh in frustration.
I see a man approaching me in the distance but he seems to stop half way and turn to the road as well looking as if he's going to catch a cab. He takes the same steps as I do, in getting a cab drivers attention whistling and waving your hand. He obviously must be a pro at it because instantly a yellow taxi cab has pulled up on the side of the sidewalk. "Fuck", is mumbled under my breath. I've been doing this for like 15 minutes then he just comes over and gets one in a snap of a finger.
He must've noticed I was frustrated because now he's walking over to me. I think that there is blonde hair peaking out of a snapback. As well as his hat, I cannot really see what he looks like because he also has a pair of sunglasses on. I don't know know what to think about the situation at the moment.
When he is in front of me he takes a second before he makes a movement to take his sunglasses off, "It looks like you've been having troubles, you may take that taxi if you want. You've been waiting a while. I can catch another one, it's totally fine with me." he offers while pointing his finger to the taxi he had just got rewarded with.
The cab driver honks his horn, obviously being impatient, "are you sure?" I question his offer.
"Yes, I insist, have at it." he remarks.
"Well thank you, that is very nice of you. This is must appreciated." I kindly remark to him.
The cab driver yells out the window saying he's gonna leave in the next 30 seconds if no one is going to get inside. "You better go! You don't want to upset the driver. He will leave in 30 seconds if you don't go now." he restates the cab drivers statement sarcastically with a light giggle afterwards.
I nod in agreement and pick up my luggage to place into the trunk of the car. I thank the oddly attractive stranger once again and scurry my way inside the cab. I permit the address to the older man while he types it up on the GPS at the same time. "12 miles till we get there." he informs me while putting the car in drive.
During this 20 minute drive my mind wanders to so many thing, why was that chick I asked for the time so rude about it, why was this cab driver rude as well. is everyone in Ireland rude? If so the next 3 years of my life will be terrifying. Then again the guy who gave up his taxi ride for me was really nice. He was actually really cute, I noticed his blue eyes that caught my attention, they were beautiful. His laugh was adorable to be honest.
The flight attendant, Harry, the guy who got me a taxi. Will every male in this country be so gorgeous? I feel that if I am to have several guys in my classes that are attractive I will never get anything done.
The cab came to a stop and I handed the driver 35 dollars for the ride. I opened to door to see a nicely landscaped area and a big building which I'm guessing holds the dorm rooms inside. I notice when I take my movie look around spin that it is beautiful here. Everything from the campus surroundings and the green, the green everything, everything is so bright and eye catching.
I retrieve my belongings from the trunk and pull out my paper from my pocket reading '22 Tomlinson Hall' which is located just at my right side. It's pretty obvious seeing there's a big sign that states "TOMLINSON HALL."
I start towards the building to where I approach a woman who looks like a dorm advisor, "hello" she greets me with a smile.
I greet her back with a gentle hello as well.
"May I help you find your room miss?" she asks.
"Yes please, that'd be great if you would." I accept her request.
She nods toward the direction in front of her and starts walking down the hall. I do as I should and follow her, my hands are full and I'm about to drop my laptop bag. But before the bag does so we stop in front of a door with the number 22 attached to it.
She kind of gave me a convincing nod to knock on the door, and do as convinced. Moments later the door had been lightly opened by a beautiful blonde.
