I was bored. That's for sure, I never really knew what to do in the gap between 1 - 2 in the afternoon.
I laid beside Ava, my best friend in the whole universe as we grabbed popcorn and stared into the sky.
We had phones but they were currently out of battery and charging inside our houses while we were bored.
We had our laptops though. Thank you for that. I would have literally wilted in the sun if I didn't have it because Ava would force me to go biking for another four hours.
"Netflix?" I faced her.
"We have literally watched every single movie in the entire program." She scowled.
"Mall!" She suggested.
"All closed." I groaned.
"Let's make a blog!" She squealed
"Funny."
"I'm serious."
"Uh oh."
And so we started a blog. We had originally named it "Girl Power" but had renamed it to "Divulge" later on to divulge information and rant and recommend other things as well.
It was super fun. We'd write about our daily adventures and do lots of things. We were under pen names of course, she was Avery and I was Liv and we put our age three years older than what we really were. We had also lied about our birthday.

Ava and I were still best friends but the blog was history. We'd talk about it now and then but never really bothered to open it.
Eventually, Ava decided to pull out. She removed herself from the editors list and told me to change the password. She said that she wouldn't want to be a part of this anymore because she thought it was a little joke we made up.
True
I completely agreed but for goodness sake decided to keep it. Who knew what would happen anyway, maybe it'll become like 'how my diary became a bestseller' or something.
Ava and I were just as close but as eighteen year olds decided that it was babyish bullcrap and something we wouldn't want to remember.
I didn't open the website at all, I just kept it, it was just that I would feel guilty if I deleted a year of my life with my best friend. Something I would miss. So I kept it.
I knew Ava wanted it saved as well, but she didn't want to be caught writing it. If we had ever offended anyone, she wouldn't want to be the one blamed, so she took herself out, knowing I wouldn't have the heart to delete it.
I knew she knew that she was taking a risk when she did it, but she didn't want to be running away from people pinning her down for saying bad things about their store.
I would miss the days where we would grab a doughnut each, maybe a frappé as well and click the letters on the keyboard of both our laptops, or even the days we'd do it at the same time or after our homework.
But we still spent time with each other.
Just not on that blog.

Last YearAva was sprawled on my bed with my laptop opening random websites.
"So," she started. "What have you done with the blog."
Not even putting it in a question.
"Nothing." I glanced at the homework on the table. "I haven't opened it since you quit."
"Shame." She laughed. "Do you think we should write on it again?"
"I'd like to keep Divulge in my history book."
"No one has ever read it!" She smiled.
She was teasing me.
"That guarantees that no one will read it how?"
She laughed. "I surrender to Olivia's geniusness!"
"Geniusness?" I gawked at her.
We laughed and drank our macchiato drinks that we had gotten from a nearby coffee shop. I had given up on Starbucks. I didn't say it was bad, but it was costly, especially on our college girl budgets.
