"Alright Mrs. Turner, just calm down. Alright. We'll be right over."
Carisi hangs the phone up and stands immediately.
"Rollins we gotta go." His tone is hurried. It's a stressful job, but he's not usually like this.
"What's going on?" She demands as she gets up to follow Carisi out. He doesn't look at her, but his stride quickens as he replies.
"Jim Turner just beat the hell out of Adam."

Carisi and Rollins rush into the house, taking the steps two at a time. They step inside, the blue lights of the local police flashing in the doorway, and both freeze at the scene before them.
Mrs. Turner, standing, staring at her son. Adam sprawled on the floor, blood dripping down his face, caked in his sandy blond hair. One eye is swollen shut, and he's gripping his torso.
Rollins gets to him first.
"Adam. Adam, we're getting you some help, okay? It's gonna be okay."
"What happened?" Carisi confronts Mrs. Turner, the blame in his voice evident.
"Adam just kept pushing Jim's buttons."
Not good enough, Carisi's look says.
"I couldn't stop it." She's sobbing, her eyes flitting from Adam's writhing figure to Carisi back to Adam.
"Where's your husband?"
"He ran out. I don't know."
"Where's Mark?"
"He's not here. I sent him to my mom's." Carisi opens his mouth to ask about Kyle just as the boy peeks around the corner. His eyes go wide at the sight of Adam; he starts to tremble.
A pained groan interrupts the interrogation. Adam tries to sit up but grips his side harder, falling back to the floor.
"No, no, no, listen Adam, don't move," Rollins breathes, gently holding him down. "We're getting you an ambulance, alright, baby? Stay right there."
Adam's breathing quickens as he struggles again to sit up.
"You needed a way to get Kyle to talk," he says, pain echoing in his every word. "This is it." Adam lifts a finger and points the cabinet.
"I got it on video."
Then they see it, Adam's phone propped against one of Kyle's trophies. He recorded everything. This is their proof.
