Chapter 4: spending the day with the asshole.Friday finally rolled around and I'm not gonna lie, besides the fact that Jacob can be an ass sometimes- well most of the time- I was actually looking forward to spending time with him and getting to know him.
I spent time prepping myself this morning, in a way to impress him. To have his eyes on me.
My plan is for Jacob to realise that he had an attraction towards me, maybe in a way he'd pursue me?
I woke up earlier than normal, having yet another mini heart attack when I came face to face with cockroaches. I took a long shower making sure to shave my legs to absolute perfection.
I don't think that he'd find my hairy legs sexy.
I spent even longer on my eyebrows.
My outfit that I've chosen for the day is a long, black business like skirt that ends just above my knees with two slits at the end on the sides. I wear a fitted deep red blouse. I made sure to leave open a few buttons around my chest.
Don't judge me.
I straightened my black hair and almost cried tears of joy when it didn't frizz too much like it usually likes to do.
I'm sitting on my bed slipping on black stilettos when Sarah bounces in the room. She grins at me.
"Well, well you look goooood."
I laugh at her, "thanks."
"Like I'm not even kidding, my lady boner is hard."
My eyes widen in surprise at her comments and I shake my head at her in disgust.
"Sarah Neilson I cannot believe you just said that."
She merely shrugs.
I finally stand up and breath. "I think I'm ready."
She grins at me giving me the thumbs up. "Go get him."

I arrive outside his work half an hour later.
I wonder if they'll let me in?
Skeptically I look around as I make my way in. I see Steve towards the elevator and I grin rushing towards him.
"Steve!" I exclaim, "long time no see, eh?"
He gives me a dirty look. "I saw you the other day." He grumbles.
"Oh yeah, the day you kicked me out."
His height and build doesn't intimate me like it first did, especially when he blushes.
"Anyways where's Jacob?" I ask,
"He left earlier this morning for a meeting."
My smile falls.
So does my posture.
"Oh."
He left.
I should have known.
"Well." I begin to turn around, "you have a nice day, Steve."
I begin to walk back out the way I came in, I can feel Steve's stare on me as I leave.
Sighing I slump on the bench outside.
"What an ass-"
A limo pull up to the curb, the window goes down.
