• England's cooking is so bad that it has Radioactive properties in it. Since America ate so much of it as a child he developed superpowers. That's why he is so strong.
• There is a personification for each of the states in the US. They deal with internal disputes with in the states when America is not around. America treats each one of them as his children. During the Civil War he was so sad because his children where fighting each other and he felt like he was being torn apart. He was after that the south would rebel like he did with England. He never wants himself and them to go through the same pain he did.
