Chapter 4

Y/N's POV
I woke up on someone arm or something. I slowly open my eyes to see that we were out of the forest and in a plain. "Hello Sleepyhead!" Zach says, I look up to him and smile. "Hello Zach and Gray." "Hi Y/N!" Wait why does my head hurt? I touch it and remember "Owww..." "I wouldn't touch it if I were you" Zach laughs. "DRIVE!!!" Gray shouts as i bolt up and look around. "WHATS THE EMERGENCY!?" "PTERODACTYLS AND PTERANODONS!!!!" I look in the wing mirror and see them behind in the sky. "ZACH!! DRIVE!!!! QUICK!!!" I shout as he steps on the accelerator making me headbutt the seat, causing my head to hurt even more. "Sorry" "Hmph...It's okay just don't do it again" I say with a smile. "Guys! All's you two care about is each other at the moment but guess what!? We might die if you don't hurry!" Gray says reminding us why we're driving so fast. "Right, Right" Zach says. I start seeing some gates so I lean out the window. "OPEN THE GATES!!!" I shout at them, but Zach pulls me back into the car, "Didn't want you to fall out" I smile then look back at the two men, they look confused but soon open them when the see the Pterodactyls and Pteranodons. We get past the gates and get out, we run into the Plaza where loads of people are now running. "Gray I have bee---" says someone from behind us, we turn to see a Pterodactyl holding a screaming, petrified Zara. The pterodactyl flies her over by the Mosasaurs' paddock, me, Gray and Zach run over to the fence where we watch it all happen. About three Pterodactyls swoop into the water, then one of them got hold of Zara and starting to fly upwards when we saw the Mosasaurs leap out of the water and eat them. I just witnessed Zara's death, Oh my gosh, WHY!? We hear gunshots, "did you hear that?" "Yeah! Come on" Zach says as we go to where we hear gunshots from. I hear a loud noise from behind us, I look behind us and spot a Pterodactyl flying towards us. Someone shot it and it started falling quite fast towards us, and the only place we could go was by a shop. We turn around and fall so now we are scrambling backwards, Zach's in between me and Gray, the Pterodactyl reaches the ground as it gets closer and closer, it finally reaches to where we are but during the process, slicing my cheek. Great... another injury to add. We get up and I say, "We should look for your Aunt and my dad" "Wait... Is that Aunt Claire?" Gray asks pointing to a red head and a man being attacked by a pterodactyl. Wait... THATS DAD!!! I wait a few minutes, from what I'm seeing I cannot believe my eyes. Claire shot the Pterodactyl and My dad. And. Claire. Fricken. Kissed. I KNEW IT!! I'VE ALWAYS SHIPPED IT!!!! I start squealing with happiness, when Claire sees us. "GRAY, ZACH, Y/N! Are you alright!?" She asks running over to us, checking were all fine. "Y/N!!!" Shouts my dad. "DADDDD" I run and jump into his arms like I'm a little kiddie. "DADDY!!! IVE BEEN SO SCARED!!!" I say crying "Hey it's okay kiddo I'm here now" he strokes my hair holding me tight, "but what happened to your head" "long story... but we kinda gotta go since dinosaurs are going to eat us" "Yeah...Let's get the others" we run over to Claire and the boys. "Come on we gotta go" Dad says to everyone. He pulls us behind this massive gate where I guess people are trying to get through. We see a Jeep kind of thing and I bet the gates going to burst anytime soon... "RUN!" My dad shouts as we run to get into the car people burst through the gate making my dad reverse into a gap where we won't run over anyone. I see a guy holding his margaritas and giggle before being scared again. "This does not feel safe" I say looking at all the people run past. "It's going to be fine, I promise." Zach says looking at me. "Can we stay with you?" Gray asks. "I am never leaving you as long as you live" says Claire looking forward. "No, no, no him" Zach and Gray say. "Yeah definitely him" they both say quickly. Me and my dad let out a laugh. Just then Claire got a call, "hey Lowery" "What do you mean? Use the raptors?" "Son of a bitch" me and my dad say at the same time causing Zach to laugh. "You shouldn't say Bitch" Gray said.

Owen's POV
"Stay here" I say to the kids but Y/N follows me along with Claire.

When we get there I was about to punch him but before I could, Y/N punched him and she was going to again but I stopped her. "Y/N that's enough now" she sighed and held onto my arm. "What do you think your doing!?" "I am using the raptors to kill that creature" "You are not using MY RAPTORS! "I am doing it with or without you..." Hoskins took a long pause. "Just think about this Owen, front head line in the local newspaper, Your Raptors saves everyone...think about it" he says, I really want to say no but i guess it's the only choice... "Dad! Don't you dare go through with this!" "I'm so sorry Y/N but it's our only choice." I look at Hoskins. "I'm going to go to my raptors if you don't mind" "go ahead" I walk into the enclosure and I hear car doors shut, I see Y/N stroking Blue trying to calm her, then I hear a voice, "what's their names?" I look to see Gray and Zach standing by the gate. "Well you've got..." i point them out. "Charlie, Echo, Delta and The Beta, Blue." (A/N: sorry I can't remember what order they go in ❤️) "Who's the Alpha" I look at him. "You're looking at him, Kid"

"And of course you have the Co-Alpha" I pointed to Y/N who had moved onto Delta now. "That's my girl" I hear her say, I look at the boys once again and notice Zach staring at her...wait does he....hmmm.... "You like her don't you?" "W-What!? N-No!" "Ohh so that's why your blushing and stuttering... okay" he sighs. "Fine, yes I do" "See I told you, you did Zach!" "Shut up!" "What you guys talkin about?" Y/N says hugging me. "How you errr....Ummm why you have my jacket on your head" "Yeah, sure Zach" says Gray sarcastically. "Dude, please shut up!"Zach says blushing "Oh yeah Y/N why've you got it on your head?" "Umm I think I bashed my head on a rock or something" she lets go of me and takes the jacket of her head. There's a massive cut on her head, still letting out blood, only slightly though. "Are you okay!? Does it hurt!?" I ask her and she laughs. "Dad, I'm fine... yes it still hurts though..." "Listen Kid... I have to go with the raptors now, you go to Claire with the boys and I'm sure she'll keep you safe." "Alright but dad?" "Yeah?" "I love you" and she gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek (whilst on her tip toes) "Love you too Kiddo" I say and walk away.
