Chapter 2: Spare time

After the therapy, Alex wandered around the city. He wanted to have a bit of fresh air so he headed over to the park. He sat down on a bench and began to daydream. He didn't notice that two people were already standing in front of him.

"Hello? Alex? You there?"

"W-What?!" Alex jumped in surprise. "Eliza? John? What are you two doing here?"

Eliza was in a pretty off-shoulder sky blue top and white leggings to match. Her hair was in a messy bun, but it still looked fashionable. Laurens was in a yellow hoodie with a turtle design on it and black pants. His headphones were rested on his shoulders and his phone in his hand.

"Well~" Eliza said. "We decided to take a stroll in the park. Kinda like what we did before, y'know?"

"Yeah!" Laurens exclaimed. "I miss us being a *polyamory!"

Alex laughed. "Why do you still call it that? It's not like-"

"shh" Eliza whispered. "Don't ruin his dreams"

"okay, fine"

"So!" Eliza exclaimed. "What are YOU doing here?"

Alex sighed. "Just finished therapy for today.."

Laurens stiffened. "..How are you holding up with that, Alexander?"

"Fine, I guess."

"Alex.." Eliza worryingly said. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.."

Alexander started to cry. He had mixed emotions on what to feel at the moment.

"A-Alex!" John and Eliza said in unison. 

His vision blurred, and everything turned black.
