Chapter Thirteen: The Missing King

I woke up to see Francis not next to me. Tears fell down my face just thinking of Francis going to Scotland to fight. Yesterday Francis decided he would go protect Scotland himself. I cried a lot of course Francis already risked his life when he fought to gain Calais, now this. Francis is aboard that ship risking his life for my nation and I couldn't even risk my own life for his. I fear that Francis will die leaving me and are child alone. He will not die, I have to keep reminding myself this. He left Catherine regent because he thinks being a regent of France is to much on a women with child. I sighed and stared at his side of the bed. My belly was in between a French women with child looks and how a Scottish women with child looks says Catherine. She always says Scottish women looks like Elephants while there pregnant. 

                                                          Nine Days Later

I was sitting on my throne while Catherine sat on Francis'. Then, walked in a page." what do you want" asked Catherine." um... what do you want us to do with this" he asked showing Catherine a ruby necklace." that's Elisabeth's" she said." she must of forgot about it before she and her husband went back to Spain" I said. He nodded." Send it to Spain" she said. He walked away with the ruby necklace. A man ran in," his majesties army has been all killed and some prisoned" he said. Oh my lord!!!!!!!!!!!! Catherine had tears going down her face." send every single French army to Scotland and tell them to kill every English man and send spies to find out if Francis is alive or not!!" screamed Catherine. Lola and john who were in the corner were crying. Everyone in the room either at tears or was crying. The man just stared at us." Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. He ran out of the room and then everybody looked at me. I ran back to my room sobbing.
