I sat in school, in History class, and we were right now busy with ancient Egypt. I seriously couldn't care less. It was lessions like this I scribbled down lyrics. Lyrics about anything really, anything that came up in my mind. My big inspiration was Bon Iver and I seriously would die to meet him. He could tell me about how he writes his songs and what makes him inspired. My songs aren't nearly as good as his, I still have a long way to walk.
"Ms Smith?" Mr Simons, my History teacher said. I lifted my head and looked at him, waiting for his question. "Are you listening?"
"Yes, sir", I said and Chillz, my best friend, nudged me in the side. I usually float away into my mind during this lession. I just couldn't help it. I just glared at Chillz, but a smile still came up on my lips. Chillz real name is Chelsea, but I came up with the name Chillz in grade 2 and it has been her name ever since.
"Good", Mr. Simons said and looked sternly at me. When he looked away I rolled my eyes at him and looked down at my desk, at my lyrics, again.
I wasn't somebody special in school. I wasn't hated, I wasn't liked, people just didn't care about me. And I was fine with that. At least I had Chillz, and it's really enough for me. We were like sisters, always together, inseparable.
I didn't look special. I had blonde hair which was quite long and big, brown eyes. I wasn't thin nor fat. I was normal, I guess. I was ordinary, boring. And again, I was fine with that.
Chillz on the other hand, gosh was she pretty! Guys were always trying to take her on dates and she could have a lot of friebds if she wanted to, but she had always said that I was enough, she didn't need anyone else.
The bell rang and finally school was over for this week. I loved Fridays so much. I could just go to the studio and be there the whole weekend. I could just record, be on Internet, listen to music and just be on my own.
Chillz and I went out from the school and stood by the bus stop waiting. The weather was perfect for me. It was October, so the leaves have changed colour, it's grey, still warm and just perfect.
"Livvy, I'm getting a ride from Dan, but I'll see you on monday aye?" Chillz said and gave me a hug. Dan was her freaking hot big brother who I used to have huge crush on when I was small.
"Yeah, sure. Come by my studio if you have time", I said and hugged her back.
"Gotcha! Cheers", she said and ran to her brother's car. Dan waved and winked at me. Damn charmer.
I put my headphones on and put on Breezeblocks by alt-J, my favourite song right now. It was calming and it's such a great song for a Friday.
The bus came and I stepped on finding a place in the back and looked out of the window thinking about how every day goes in a pattern. Wake up, go to school, go to the studio, go home, sleep, repeat. Sometimes I wished something would happen for the pattern to change. But I'm fine as it is. I really am.

Author's Note
Okay, so this chapter is quite short, I just wanted to show how Olivia's personality is and how she thinks. I hope you like her! If you need someone to picture her like, I picture her like Hilary Duff in the movie "Raise Your Voice". If you haven't seen the movie, you should! It's a really good movie haha :)
Btw I see Chillz as Peyton List, she plays Cara in The Tomorrow People. One of my favourite series right now haha.
Also, I just want to tell you that everything in this story is going to realistic, everything won't happen over a day. If that's not for you, then this story isn't for you. I don't want this story to be like an ordinary fanfiction where you roll your eyes when the girl falls hard for the guy when they first meet. I don't like that.
Hope you're all alright!
