Sea's Music
I sit still on a rock.
And quitely listen,
To the Sea's soft Music.
The flowing of currents,
The smashing of sharp rocks,
The rushing tide - rapid,
The retreating tide -slow.
The lapping waves slapping
The hulls of fishing boats.
The voices of fishers,
Too are part of the Sea.

She winds up storms and tsunamis.
She sends boats aloft and ships lost.
She suffocates grand stately ships,
For they fall weak before her strength.
She shelters the aqua creatures,
For they are adopted children.

She sings only for me,
To wash away my grief,
To reveal her beauty,
To share untold secrets,
To try and bring a smile
To my damp, hollow cheeks.
