Chapter 1

Ally's p.o.v

"What do you mean you are breaking up with me?!" I yelled at the phone pretending the phone was Calum.

Calum and I had been together ever since the beginning of Primary school. "I don't feel any spark anymore... Ally, I'm sorry... I have to go."

He left me alone and unanswered. I checked my Instagram, went to his page. I saw a picture of him with Briana. The picture of Briana kissing Calum, as he acted like he didn't expect it, with eyes wide open.

His eyes haunted my bones, causing my spine to fail me. I fell on the floor and wondered what to do next. I tried texting him but it seemed that he has blocked my number. Why was this happening to me...?

I didn't cry... I pretended that it was just a nightmare... I pinched myself, grunted and opened my eyes. It was real... I was facing reality.

I decided to call my closest friend Anna. Anna and I were like sisters. We were always there for each other. When she had her first break up... she couldn't stop crying for a week. She moved to Pennsylvania in the middle of eighth grade, and I haven't lost my contact with her ever since.

"Hey, love! This is Anna! Please leave a message after the beep! Bye!" It headed me to her voicemail. Just her voice makes me feel comforted already... but I needed her presence.

I walked out of the door with my phone and my small purse. I headed to the park, sat on a bench and looked at the sunset. The glorifying light across the horizon is saying that there is hope. As soon as the sun faded away, I lost it.

She answered the phone and I immediately started crying. "Anna! I need you right now! Please!"

"What wrong?!..." she asked.

"I'll explain everything when you get here..." I replied.

"Ally... I don't think..."

I interrupted her not hearing what she had to say. "Please! I really need... someone right now..."

"Ok...Ok... Please stop crying now... I'll be there in three hours..." she comforted.

"Thank you... I'll see you then...I love you..." I replied then ending the call.

I traveled to Calum's house. The street was empty. I arrived at his door and was able to easily open it.

I felt the music blasting my skin, teenagers dancing with smiles on their faces. The smiles faded away once I walked by.

I made my way through the silent crowd. The house became completely still, so still that I can hear Calum making out with Brianna.

I looked over at them, leaning against a wall. Each time Brianna backs away and kisses him again made me angry. I walked over to Calum, took his arm and swung it so that he was facing me. I slapped him as hard as I could. My palm contained all my regrets and pain.

"What the!" Brianna yelled. "YOU! Do not get to slap him!"

"Oh, yea?!" I slapped her with another set of pain that I had held in. She instantly fell hitting her head hard. She was probably unconscious.

"I... LOVED you.." I emphasized to Calum. I gave him another slap on the other side of his cheek. "Good... Bye!"
