Many of you wana know the real facts on horse slaughter, not how they're slaughtered illegally and in other countries, which is how people mistake it. American horse slaughter isn't gruesome, and I don't support slaughter but people, its time for the real facts, throughout this book, you will read from horses points of view in a illegal slaughter house, a foriegn house, and an American slaughter house. Maybe now you can understand the real slaughter in this world. Horses are sometimes let loose and can't find a home. Illegal horse slaughter is out there, nobody seems to see it, and it's not usually found on the Internet, they trick those horse people who don't know their facts to give up their horse, under a stable name such as (Not a real stable I know of) Greenfern Michigan Slaughter which could be a barn in Oklahoma.
Here are some quick facts, some many people mistake.
"Slaughter horses from America go to Canada or Mexico to be legally slaughtered." -AC4H Founder.
"Most Americans oppose the slaughtering of horses for meat consumption. According to polls, in New York, 64% of people polled believed that slaughtering horses for meat was illegal, while in Indiana, 91% believe that horse slaughter should be banned. In Texas 89% of voters are unaware that horse slaughter was then going on in their own state."
"About 90% of the horsemeat is exported for human consumption overseas, where it sells for approximately the same price as veal. The rest goes to zoos. Horsemeat was outlawed in pet food in the 1970s."
"In Kazahstan villages, horses are still slaughtered by local butchers in a pre-industrial way"
"They are usually killed using a free bullet from a bell gun. The skull is too hard to use a captive bolt the bell end to the gun prevents the bullet ricocheting and injuring the slaughterman. They are then killed by being bled out by severing the jugular vein or carotid artery while suspended by the rear leg by a heavy chain shackle. Horse slaughter is similar to beef slaughter"
