"It's another dead end!" Kate cries out in despair, holding onto her sister.

"What?" Seth groans.

"Oh." Tanner stares at the wall, "The beginning."

"We went in a big circle?" Seth hits the wall with his fist, making Briza stop him, and on instinct checked for any scrapes. 

"No, no, no, no, no. The inscription... It's the beginning of the ancient words. It's a reference to the creation myth in the Popol Vuh. Rebirth. Renewal. Rebirth. Renewal. Rebirth."

Briza looked at Tanner, "What are you doing? Don't touch things in here, please."

Tanner doesn't listen to her and pressed the plates on the walls, making the ground around them shake intensely. Kate grabbed hold of her sister, "Aah! What did you do?"

Seth moved back and pressed Briza against the wall, making sure she didn't tumble, "What the hell did you do?"

Briza looked over at Tanner who laughed as the wall moved, "Okay."

"Hey. Do you see this?" Seth moved over to the wall, and forced it open, "There's stairs. They go up. Up is good, right?"

"It's better than down." Briza states.

"Yeah, fuckin' 'A'." Seth grins at her before carrying on up the stairs, everyone following. He glanced back at Briza, "You gonna tell me why you don't have fangs, like those fucking monsters back there?"

"Something about my bloodline." Briza looks up at him, "Both my brother and I forced their venom out."

Seth pushes the door open, "Oh finally."

Rose smiles, but it falters, "Wait..." Her eyes fall onto the man with glasses, "R-Richie?"

"He's still alive?" Seth whispers.

Jacob looks at him, "He looks pretty good for a guy that just got shot."

Seth sees Santanico follow Richie inside the R.V. "Son of a bitch." He shook his head, noticing the group didn't try to leave yet, "What are you waiting for, huh? We're free. Let's get out of here."

Rose shook her head, "We can't leave without Scott."

Tanner pursed his lips, "I can stay back. I'll help out."

Briza grabbed hold of Seth before he could leave. Seth's eyes fell onto hers, "Get your hands off of me, princess. I'm going to help my brother."

"Are you even sure he's still your brother?" Briza questions, she shoves a stake his way, "Just in case I can't get there in time."

"You're coming?"

Briza shrugged his way, "The Fullers got four people searching for Scott and as backup, you're by yourself. So I think you'd need an extra hand."

Seth smirks down at her, "Is this your way of saying you can't leave my side?"

Briza snorted in amusement, "Coming from the man that tied me and left me for dead? Let's get your damn brother."

Rose looked at the two, "Good luck." She handed Briza a shotgun.

Briza held the shotgun in her hand as she walked beside Seth. She walked into the R.V. and saw Richie, but not Santanico, so she searched around as Seth spoke to him.

"Where is she? Okay, Richie, look. I know it's not your fault. She played you, okay? Just tell me where she is."

Richie snarled his fangs at her, making Briza call out, "Seth!"
