Jake coughed to break the silence as the man stood before him turned around to face him. He had a scar down one side of his face, and ice blue piercing eyes that looked right into your soul. Jake shivered as he looked into the mans face. Jake had a strong build for a boy of his age, but the man watching him was double the strength and stood overlooking him.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw two men approach either side of the man. They wore black suits and kept a straight face looking past Jake and what was going on behind him. He knew these kind of people and knee that if he didn't pay up right now he probably would not be seen again.
"I have the money" Jake said as confidently as he could, but his voice broke as he spoke.
"For the wait the price is doubled"
"but I cant pa..." Jake was cut off by the safety being flicked off the gun pointed at his forehead.
Jake stared in the mans eyes, they had turned even lighter than before now and he knew this was not a joke. He stepped back in shock and fumbled in his bag pulling out some cash. "How much do I uh, I owe you sir"
"Two grand, next time you mess me around it will not be negotiating, you understand."
Jake pulled out some more mash and counted the notes in his hand, eventually he stretched out his shaking hand and the guy snatched it off him, re counting it. After a couple of minutes he looked up nodded at Jake and walked of with his men following closely behind.
Jake let out a long breath, he didn't realize that he'd been holding. He stumbled backwards until he reached his bike and cycled away faster than he had before. After a couple of minutes when he'd had time to relax he started chuckling to himself. "What an idiot, thinks he's all big man with his body guards surrounding him." He laughed aloud to himself. He revived some strange looks from passerby's but he didn't care, he was just relieved to have gotten away without a scratch.
Jake headed off to his next destination, feeling invincible.
