Sharon’s POV.
I woke up at around 10am the next morning. Looking around I noticed I fell asleep on the couch and the others aswell. Suddenly I heard a squel from next door and lots of laughters. I walked to the window and saw the boys we met yesterday with some girls. They looked around our age so I guessed they must be friend or boyfriend/girlfriend. I went upstairs to get changed and woke up the others when I came downstairs again and began making breakfast. But since I’m a horrible cook Harry took over and told me to sit down with Louis and Maddison. I stopped in my tracks when I heard them talk tho..
“Lou, do you think Harry likes Sharon?” “I don’t know, he does flirt a lot with her lately”
I listened closely with a confused look on my face. “Yeah but I can tell that Sharon likes him.. I just don’t want her to get hurt again like last time when we just met them. I remember her being heartbroken.” “Look babe, if Harry really cares for Sharon, even if it’s just as friends, he’d never hurt her like that again. He knows how much it broke her, he learned from it.” “Well if you say so..”
I took this moment to walk through the door. “Heyaaa guys!”
They quickly stopped talking and looked up, smiling and I could see they hoped I didn’t hear anything.
Harry then came over with the breakfast and we started eating till we heard a loud crash. We all looked up confused and walked outside, only to see the same girls and the boys messing around and one of them let something fall. I guess that caused the crash.
We decided to go over , after all the boys were our neighbours. “hi guys.” “oh hey! Sorry for all the noise, our girlfriends are staying here for the summer with us..” I smiled. “It’s fine, don’t be crazy. I’m Sharon, and this are Harry, Maddison and Louis” I said while I turned to the girls. They smiled at us and introduced themselves. “I’m Gina, I belong with Niall” while she was talking Niall came up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. “She surely does. My gorgeous babe.” I smiled at them and turned to the other girls, who were surprisingly also busy with their boyfriends. “Oh sorry! I’m Lieke, I belong with Zayn here” She said while pointing at him. He just winked at her which caused her to giggle. “And I’m Indiana Rose, but call me Rose. I’m with Liam” I smiled at her and nodded. “It’s nice to meet you all.”
We soon started to get lost in our conversations while everyone was helping the girls to unpack and get them settled in the house. Suddenly Gina spoke up. “So Sharon, what’s the deal with you aye?” I gave her a weird look and she started laughing. “Cmon, don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about! What’s up with you and Harry?” “Ohh..” I felt myself blushing but hoped Harry didn’t see it, which he probably did because he was standing close to me. “well we’ve been bestfriends since I was born and it never changed.” Gina shook her head lightly. “I meant, I can see there’s something between you guys. Are you really telling me you guys aren’t dating?” It was now my time to laugh. “No, no. We’re not dating! Just best friends like we’ve always been” I looked up at Harry and smiled at him, he gave me a wink and a cheeky smirk in respond and I felt myself blush again. Damnit.
After a while we decided to get into town together and go for dinner. We all got changed and made our way to the city. The trip was fun and dinner was an absolute blast. We had lots of fun like we’ve known eachother for our whole lives. Zayn and Louis kept joking together, Niall’s laugh made everyone even laugh more and when we got strange looks Liam tried to calm us… Which failed badly. When people started to get mad at us for being so loud we decided to leave again and go back to my place. Harry found a few drinks and we decided to have a little party to celebrate summer.
“I want to play truth or dare!” “No strippoker you fool!” “What about spin the bottle?!” this went on and on for a while. “GUYS. We’ll not play strippoker..” Zayn gave me a sad look but I ignored it. “.. But we can play truth or dare or spin the bottle. You choose”
It turned out that we started playing spin the bottle. Zayn was first and it landed on Lieke. We got a whole snog party in our face, pretty disgusting for my virgin eyes. Next was Liam and it landed on Rose, they just gave eachother a simple kiss, thank god. Next was Niall and it landed on Gina, they gave eachother a kiss, a bit longer then with Liam and Rose but not much of a snog as Lieke and Zayn. Next turn was me. “please don’t land on harry, please don’t land on harry…..”
