"In what way, do you classify your teenage-years?"
"Teenage years? Hmmm....if I had to take a crack at it, I'd say High School games, first loves, parties, summer vacations, and friendships."
Ah, another boring lecture class, the one thing I look forward to.... for sleep that is. Hey now... don't blame me for sleeping, blame the course! Speaking of this course, what day is it today...Wednesday... right. It's the only class that I have on Monday's and Wednesday's where I get to get a few extra moments of shut eye before my real classes begin. PSY-182 Social Development of Teenagers, that's the course I'm in. It's honestly the biggest joke of all, pfftt...teenage years, the "golden age of life". What a load of bullshit I say, what's so good about it anyway, huh? High school was only great for the people who were popular.
Well, I guess taking this class isn't as bad as being in actual high school again though. I've only been out for 3 months and I'm back in school. So much for a break before the real college experience begins. Although, I can't complain, I left that garbage heap of a hometown and everything else behind me. It was very expensive and took out a large portion of my social life, but I got accepted into Clear Water University, a school twelve states away from that wretched place.
"......What a drag." I sigh, while I try to put those horrid memories in the deepest corner of my mind.
"Ahhh......Mr. Wade, it's good to see you're finally awake, how was your dream?"
Shit! I've been found out, and judging by the professor's face, she definitely wasn't amused. In addition to the interruption of class from me, the students were giggling because of the situation I've created.
The professor's name was Ms. Kotomi Haruno. She was a Japanese native before coming to the States, a beautiful woman with brown flaxen hair, wearing a natural up hairstyle, her bangs fell on both sides, and bundled her hair at the top, to make it look like a ball. Her physique was slim, yet almost seductive with her long legs. She had a modest bosom to her as well. She was at the front of the class, sporting a black turtleneck paired with tan slim fit jeans, and black high heels. I do have to say that Ms. Haruno was attractive, and that if she was a few years younger I'd have fallen for her immediately.
As I hesitate to answer as I had just woken up, I scan my environment to see that my classmates were either giggling or at least trying to keep their composure. I notice that I have a bit of drool from my sleep. Jeez, I know I'm a deep sleeper but seriously of all times to drool, this is a nightmare! I hear a loud tapping noise from the front of the classroom. It was Ms. Haruno tapping her heels in frustration for the interruption I've caused.
"Sensei, gomenasai. (Sorry, teach)" I say in a somewhat groggy tone of voice, but with sincerity, because I did interrupt the class. I'm just trying to get back to sleep dammit.
"......what?" I look at Ms. Haruno who just stares back at me blankly, while the rest of my classmates are whispering amongst themselves.
As expected, because I hardly engage in this class, nobody really knows much about myself, what my major is, or what classes I'm taking this semester. The only thing that this class knows about me is my looks and how I enjoy sleeping. I mean, I'm about five nine, weighing about one hundred-eighty pounds, with green eyes. Being mixed both African-American and Caucasian, I have a tan skin tone, with medium messy black curly hair. My major is English and I minor in Japanese. I came to this university here on a full-ride scholarship because I received a thirty on my ACT and graduated with a three-point nine GPA. I'm quite good-looking if I do say myself, I just.... well.... like sleeping more than socializing with people, so I don't have much friends at the moment.
