Chapter 1-We're Moving where!?

(Maddox's Pov)

It was another day at home. I was sketching in my sketching pad while everyone else did what they wanted. It was a sunny day for a  change so we couldn't go to school. I was humming to myself. I was kinda sad.

"What's wrong Madd?"

I looked up at mom. My mom was the best person ever. I went to her about everything.

"I'm just upset mom"

"Well, what's got you upset?"

She sat next to me and placed her arm around me trying to comfort me. I sighed.

"Well, everyone has a mate but me. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever find a mate"

"Just give it time. When you find your mate, you'll be so thankful"

I grinned slightly. I hoped she was right.

"I hope you're right mom"

"I know I am"

I laughed this time with her. Like I said, my mom was the best. She knew how to cheer me up. Soon dad walked in the room.

"Everyone please coming in here for a moment"

When everyone walked in the room, Renesmee sat on my other side. Besides her parents, I was her favorite.

"What's wrong?" asked Rosalie.

"Well, as you all know, we've been in Forks for quite a while"

"Yeah. It's the perfect place for us"

"I'm afraid some people at the hospital are starting to question my age. I believe it's time we've moved again"

"Where too? Alaska?" asked Emmett.

"I love it there. We get to see Tanya, Kate, Garrett, Carmen, and Eleazar."

I grinned at Renesmee.

"Well, no. It's not Alaska this time"

"England?" asked Bella.

"No. I've decided to move us to a place I've done some research on. They are in need of a doctor and I've taken the position"

"What's the place?" asked mom.

I curled more into her side. No matter what, I'll always remain close to her.

"It's Beacon Hills, California"

We all shouted together,

"WE'RE MOVING WHERE!?"

"Beacon Hills, California. They have a really good school and hospital"

"But it's sunny there. Won't people notice"

"Not with Madd's gift"

They looked at me. If I could, I would blush.

"Oh yeah, Maddox has the gift to conceal. She can make us not sparkle" said Alice.

"That's as much as I can do. I can't do appearances all at once. The most I can do is four"

"As long as you can make us not sparkle, that's all that matters"

I nodded at dad's words.

"Looks like we're moving to Beacon Hills"

I was excited about moving but also nervous. Would I find my mate there? Or will I be let down again? I felt Edward looking at me. I glanced at him and he gave me a sad grin. I stood up and went upstairs to my room.

(Esme's Pov)

We watched Maddox go up to her room. I sighed.

"What's wrong with Maddy?"

We looked at Renesmee. She looked worried about her favorite aunt.

"You know how everyone has someone and how you have Jacob?"

"Yes"

"Maddox doesn't have anyone"

"Why not"

"Because she hasn't found her La Tua Cantante yet. But hopefully, her mate will be at the new place we're moving too"

"I hope so too. I don't like it when she's sad"

"Us either but don't worry Ness, she'll find her mate" said Jacob.

We all grinned as he tried to cheer her up. It seemed to work considering she smiled. Edward had went upstairs to comfort his first sister. Just like he holds a place in her heart, she holds a special place in his heart. They'll always be each other's favorite sibling.

I wonder how this move will effect Maddox?
