The one that got away

Chapter 1: The Beginning

I always wondered why people fall in love? I guess I never truly understood why people fall in love I guess it's because I never truly fell for someone. I guess I started to understand it when I watched my best friend fall in love with her hero. The craziest thing to me is when you can look at someone and you just smile just because you know they are there. Well it all seems clear now there's no turning back....never imagined that my best friend would fall in love before me. It all started this year.....Elizabeth was quiet and didn't really talk to a lot of people. Except me of course.... Then one day she started to talk about this boy that she thought she liked. His name is Brandon, he's tall and very handsome. His smile completely lights her up, the way she smiles when she's around him is incredible it's like there's no one else in the world but him. Watching her face light up everytime she sees him in the hall or walks into the same class as him is something I'll never ever get tired of. It almost seemed like yesterday that we were talking about when they first met, now it seems to be a daily conversation. It goes like this she looks at me and smiles then they glance at each other and smile and it's like eve whole world just stops right there. As he glances into her eyes, they're eyes lock and she grows to fall deeper for him as he looks into her eyes. He catches her balls in gym and looks at her like she's the only girl in the world. Some people would say that young love is overrated  at 15 years old but if you think about people marry their high school sweet hearts. Maybe he could be the one for her you never know.........
